That's good to hear that you did that. It's important to have your high attack cards ready and continue to heal yourself since the bosses are very cheap and will kill you if your health is even half way. This happened to me and it was grossly unfair and frusterating.

 

i was wondering that myself, and i had trouble too. it also is unfair that you can't dodge her lightning attack :( btw, did anyone who played the Japanese version of this game, think that they "upped" the difficulty somewhat? because i could've sworn that some of Sora's Sleights did less damage in this version, but i might've imagined it.

...1st Battle: Just Strike Raid Him.

2nd Battle: Have a lot of 9's just to counter him.

3rd Battle: ...Can't change deck so just be careful. When he blasts you away just stay back and keep running to avoid his Sleight since he casts it about...What? 3 or 4 times? Then head in to attack. You'll know when because he'll stop using the Sleight. Be prepared to use a sleight or two yourself to block his stronger ones. I'd put up a video guide but I accidentally went over my file with my Reverse/Rebirth one...If what I typed doesn't make sense then just pretend that I'm rambling on and on...

I didn't beat him until Lvl 53 on the American version...Beat him at Lvl 44 in the Japanese one though...Same tactics. Trust me he is a lot easier once you figure him out. He does the exact same attack patterns in the 3rd fight. Just relax yourself and focus on what he does...And avoid his little whirlwind thing so you don't need to run in circles trying to collect all your cards from it. All you need to do in the 2nd battle is just card break and attack.

 

well im lvl 51 and ive died on Marluxia like 4 time..
im taking a break but ill be back at it after supper :3

 

What is your deck like? And of course character stats. (HP, CP, Sleights)

All attack cards should be Premium, All potions should be Hi-Potions, You should have at least two Cure cards (For a "Hi-Potion/Cura") so you can use it for all your Hi-Potions (Therefore you want to use LOW Hi-Potions like say 1-3) All attack cards should be 7-9...Type doesn't matter just value. If you give some more details I can offer a bit more help...I'm in the middle of randomly getting Riku to Lvl 99...68 so far.

Congratulations. Now you get to do Riku's story and deal with the fixed decks and enjoy the one and only time you get to actually use him without character hacking or cheap 10 second KH2 "Rescue Sora" end game time.
