I don't feel safe anymore

No matter where I go someone always has a camera and I get caught in it, my name is told to everyone by the people i'm forced to trust and my work is stolen by the board of education and show to people who I don't know without any credit of me doing it.

No matter what I do someone always sees it or is told about it, I feel like I have no security. **** the digital age.

 

Maybe try not to show anyone your work? Or keep it safe....

 

All of this stuff always seems to happen to me, too, but I don't feel unsafe.
Teachers have to show your work to the board of education so they know your doing it.

 

*facepalm* it was work for school, and they took it without asking me and I wasn't even getting graded on it.

 

That's bull****!I can't believe someone would pull that.What's that word where people steal your work?Plagirism.I've seen i happen alot to people,and with jobs,the other person gets the credit.

 

I'm pretty sure you can sue them. They have to give you credit if it's your work. If they don't, then I'm pretty sure they are breaking the law.

 

ohh...I feel very stupid.....well still, if you can prove its your work, you can get them in trouble. And I never have heard of teachers showing to the board, that's a little strange....

 

They made us sign an agreement to show it was our own work and then the board just took my work without my permission and I can't get it back or find out where it is. And if I do try to sue them they'll probibly destroy my work and say it never existed or make up some bullshit rights like last time.

 

Do you have like a backup copy of your work?

 

Its not possible to have a backup of what I did, It was mostly sculptures and artwork too big for my scanner.

 

Oh. Well, from now on you should sign all your work and take pictures and make sure the signature is visible. That way, if they do it again, you have proof so that even if they do try and get rid of it, you still have the pictures to prove it existed.

 

That's just.... wow. It sounds like they want to sell your artwork or what not... Sounds intense. Maybe you can ask them why they didn't give you credit for it? Or maybe just transfer to another school where the teachers and staff could be more trusted?

I did, my name is all over the work I did.

@FH: I left school a few months ago and found out that the board took my work for learning resouces 1 month after I started college.

 

Then how were you not able to get credit if your name was on it?

 

I don't know but from what I heard when someone told me they saw it they said that it wasn't mentioned who it was done by and that they couldn't see my name on it.

I'll solve it myself, this thread will just end up going in circles.
