I don't care HOW much you hate or love DmC

Defending DMC as a good game is like defending Superman 64 as a good game.
It's shit people, just admit it.

 

I don't get why people hate the new DMC I think it's the best out of the other games. I mean ****ing seriously in the other games it's so ****ing hard to get SSS, while in the new one THEY TURN THAT **** DOWN AND I CAN FINALLY DO ****ING SSS.

And honestly the new Dante is better in my opinion. He's funnier and sexy and young. He ****ing smokes too. AND VERGIL CAN SHOOT GUNS THAT'S ****ING AMAZING. I wish Call of Duty had him as a playable character.

Also, this boss battle isn't as simple as it looks. It literally took me 7 minutes trying to beat the ****er. He's that hard. So before you start hating a game, play it before making threads.

 

Hit the neck, avoid the big attacks. Hello simple boss battle. Not to mention Darkside, the Titans and all the other big bosses in the KH game.

God of War has been the only game series to do it right.
Oh and of course Shadow of the Colussus but that doesn't count as a hack n slash to me.

Superman 64 TBH its just a game that's laughably bad, while DMC is just shit that pisses me off.

If I recall correctly, he shoots a pregnant woman in the stomach. Killing her and the child.

He then promptly jokes about it afterwards. Something about 'wet chunks'.

Dante doesn't. Vergil does.

 

It isn't Dante who kills her. Vergil does it and even Dante is like "wtf just happened" when it happens. And most people seem to forget the fact that the woman and baby that were killed were Lilith and Mundus' child. Considering how it's revealed that Vergil wants to rule over humanity as king, it suddenly makes sense why he would kill the heir and wife of the guy who's currently ruling.

CONTEXT, PEOPLE! SCENES HAVE THEM! When Dante brings up the baby being killed in his conversation with Mundus, it's made clear that Dante is doing so to agitate Mundus and not because he liked it. He needs to get Mundus away from the Hell Gate so Vergil can close it and thus make Mundus vunerable. So Dante hits Mundus where it hurts and the guy responds by punching him out the building and chasing after him. Exactly what he wanted him to do.
