This is a pathetic display no matter how you look at it.

Do have to admit, the boss could've not received so much damage so quick.

But really, giant bosses in hack and slash games are usually boringly simple to beat with weakpoints.

This is not unique.

 

People are still complaining about this game?

What is this f******? This is not DmC, this is some weird person trying to make what he wants to be another DmC game, and failing at it. Even the giant boss in DMC 4 was better than this

There are flaws in every game and you can criticise them.

However, I feel that you are simply looking for any reason to hate this game more than you already do just because you lost your beloved 'mop head' Dante is gone.

(and btw that battle against Ursala is very boring and repetitive also)

I don't know WHERE you're getting these baseless assumptions from.
This is the ONLY thread about DmC I have ever made EVER and it's highlighting a legitimate flaw with the game IE The almost final boss on the hardest difficulty takes damage like a ***** and the ultimate reward of the game(style) is given to you in an instant with little to no effort.
But no
None of that matters, you see me saying something negative about DmC and you INSTANTLY go to the "HUUUR! YOU DON'T LIKE IT BECAUSE HIS HAIR ISN'T WHITE! DUUUUUUUUUUR!".
It's like I can't even say something bad about the game without being accused of being some "non progressive fanboy"


tl;dr: Don't assume, it makes an ass out of U and me.

 

Fair enough the final boss may be a bit weak in terms of difficulty. I just think that the almost half the people complaining about this game wouldn't be doing so if the 'look' of Dante hadn't been changed.

 

But Jube complains about everything he doesn't like. Usually pretty disparagingly. People really need to know who they're talking to. Not all people are exactly the same so don't pretend they are.

 

He can complain all he wants but trying to emphasise small problems within a game just to justify your hatred for it sounds silly to me.

If there was a major problem he was complaining about then I would accept his reasoning. Quite frankly it just sounds like he's trying to hide his disappointment for the game with any minor fault he can find.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I haven't even played the games, but based on what I have seen from both, in terms of gameplay, tjis new one sucks and the old one is better.

 

It may not be a problem to you because you obviously expect something different form the game
It's an action game
I expect challenging and engaging fights in an action game
DmC does not give me that thus it's a major problem for me even on it's HARDEST difficulty.

Style is very easy to obtain thus there is no challenge in gaining it.

There are enemies that require specific weapons to beat which kills variety when fighting enemies.

Keeping enemies close to you is far too easy with the angel pull ability

You and enemies stay in the air far too long which causes other enemies to wait around until you're done beating the one in the air

These are major problems for me
You can like the game
You can hate the game
I don't care
But don't say **** like "you're not complaining about anything legitimate" because these ARE legitimate complaints when it comes to an action game.
Please stop projecting.
