I told you, and that's all that matters. I don't expect you to make a decision right away. As long as you know what I did, real or not, I'm happy. You have the right to know. I even went out of my way to keep it from you. But in the end, I couldn't keep it in. I sat there, in my chair, covered in the blanket you sat on just hours before. And I was trembling. I was terrified. I'm still getting a chill down my spine. My hands tremble even as I type this. The amount of typos that I have to fix is enormous. I wanted you to know, but it didn't feel right. But you had to know. I promised myself there would be no more secrets between us. But I was ashamed of what I did in that world. So I flipped a coin. Heads, I kept it a secret. Tails, I told you. You should know what fell. You, I assume, didn't know what to say. You sat there on your couch, staring at the screen. You were too shocked. And I apologized because I thought you might be. And now you know. (G.I. Joe) So sleep on it. It's all I can expect from you. I'll be waiting. You already know how I feel. It's your job to decide how you feel. Just know one thing. What happened in that world of dreams, it meant the world to me. It made that entire day. Those few moments, which were probably less than a half second in real time were the best in my life. Five days ago, I kissed you in a dream. Three days ago, I told you about that dream. Six hours ago you read about the whole thing. Thirty minutes ago, I told you what I left out. Fifteen minutes ago you asked me if it was open mouth. Fourteen minutes and thirty seconds ago I admitted that I didn't know. Five minutes ago, I was inspired to write this. In fifteen seconds, I'll be done. Good night. | | | | | | | | | | | Not exactly lyrics, but it felt like it fit better here than in Original Work. I felt extremely inspired by something that really did just happen, and this is a description of those events. I hope you liked it.
This is . . . original. I must say this is actually pretty good. That is what poetry is all about anyway right, expressing how you feel. And to say it probably did fit better here than original work because this is not so much a story . . . well i'm not sure how to say it. Anyway, this is quite the lovely piece and you should try to do more, I would love to read them ^_^
I actually have done more, you just need to look around in this section as well as in Original Work. Most of them aren't as good as this one though. Thanks for the feedback.
