Will someone explain to me why so many people like Call of Duty? :'c I tried playing once but it was mega hard and I got flamed by all of these 10-year-olds.
I got it today... servers have way too many people atm (at least on Xbox live), there was like over a million people on TDM alone earlier. But overall it's pretty good. Most of the guns are balanced (so far) and all the perks I hate for the most part are gone. I don't like that you have to buy everything though. =/
Actually I find most of their games fairly easy but the campers and 10 year olds kicks me off my having fun stage to "I'm going to go try hard" stage which usually ends up with some rage quiters. But this one really got my attention with all its possibilities and game modes. Anyways they call it Call of Duty because the wars or armys whatever are sent to the "Call of Duty" aka the battle. At least thats what i believe.
Oh I wasn't questioning the title, haha. I just don't really understand how people play it for hours and get all psyched when the new games come out. I mean I'll be honest, I didn't try very hard to learn to play, and I probably deserved the flaming (apparently grenade + throwing at the ground = not fun), but it's got this like cult following, haha.

You do realize that you're an admin on a KINGDOM HEARTS forum? Although they're two completely different types of games, but yeah.
Damn! I guess I was smart to get it on Friday so when I get on XBL, hopefully there wont be as much people when I get on. I mean a Million thats a bit too much. The guns and perks but mostly the gun customizations and the wager matches is what got me hooked on it even before playing. Like the guns, there are more of a variety then the other CoD games, same with the perks but I love how they brought guns from the other Call of Duty's (example - the sniper rifle on CoD 4.) But what I would be most thankful perk is the Flat or whatever jacket that prevents N00b Tubes from killing you. For the economic system I think its better than completing challenges for your attachments and camos, I mean getting them legit on the other CoD's is a real pain, but now that I can buy it it seems so much easier. But thats my opinion tho. Also, the maps look awesome tho. o: Oh, I see. Well, thats real fans for ya, like me I can sit there and play it for hours if I feel like it but it gives me a big headache after a while.
I agree, but things like having your clan tag on a gun... you have to pay like 2000 PER gun which is rather silly.
I'm sure not a whole lot of people would even do that, they would probably customize the face or even the red dot sight to like a skull or smiley face. Most people that I know who do that are in a Quick Scoping Clan so they would probably put the clan name on their main Sniper such as an Intervention. But hey that's just me, but I do agree its silly, too many guns so I would say they should lower it down to about 200 or atleast 500 per gun.
I have yet to see anyone try to quick scope in this game, it's nothing like MW2 in that department. But yeah somethings are overpriced, like 5000 for a claymore. But I guess I can live with it.
That will be the first thing I am going to do when I get it, Quick Scope. Of course it will be harder than MW2 but hey I love a challenge.
