As much as I don't like the graphics in Runescape, it's overall a pretty good game, right? So, I try to log in this one day, and my computer breaks down. I get a new computer, try again, my internet doesn't work. I fix that, try one more time, finally get it... then it says username does not match password. By this point, I wold rip out the wiring, throw the screen at th door, kick the crud out of the computer box so that it doesn't work again, then go buy a better computer. Instead, I just tried again. I did it right this time, and it wouldn't let me in. SOMEBODY HELP ME! All the other MMORPGs I play got boring, Runescape and this place are all I got, HEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!
1. Oh this is sad 2. I do believe someone hacked your account ^^ 3. Or your just typing something in wrong. Go try using your recovery questions, and if you dont have them set, Sucks to be you ^0^
Wow that's harsh. :/ Anyways, if you do get it back, change your password at least every 2 weeks, I think that would help.
Altough it's a long time since I played the game I think there's a password recovery where you have to answer some questions...?

Well.. whats even more sad is that i play roonscape and am lvl 121 lol! Also play guild wars though.. so... meh
If u got ur recovery questions set up, u mite wana consult that. Otherwise, you're screwed big time. (unless u wana ditch ur life and use hours and hours to figure it out) Seriously though, don play it. I was a lvl 126, lvl 99 for most of my stats, and then I gave it up. There are tons of better MMORPGS out there. If u want something new, I'd recommend this site: www.ijji.com Go download some of their games and quit Runescape now!

If you were a member I believe you could ask them to e-mail you your password and if you set up recovery questions that's like the only way (I haven't played in ages though) P.S. Check if you're spelling your username wrong! that happened to me once *hehe* And I think there is a way of checking users w/o logging in. Try that and see if your sats have changed XP and best of luck!!!
The only real way someone could acctualy get yout pw is by keylogging you orr, them getting to know u lots and then guessing ur pw threw that information. thats what i say. just dont make freinds on msn over runescape theyll just hack u like they did my level 110

Well what lvl are you/ are you a member? If your not a high lvl or a mem just create a new one cuz u probably got hacked. if not use the recovery questions.
