I was on deviant art today and I was looking up stuff on religion when I saw this stamp with thousands of religions on it.

http://spyridon.deviantart.com/art/Religion-Stamp-75599638?offset=425#And right now I am wondering to myself which one would fit me the best.

All I know is that I don't believe in Gods(yes that includes the God of abraham) or Goddeses. I am a believer in evolution. I believe love is love, NO MATTER WHAT. I believe that all life is connected through the force(energy), and I believe in karma. Does anyone know of a religion/belief that fits all that?

Also I am not asking to be converted into anything I just want to know if my beliefs are shared with another group of people.

Well...You don't have to have a religion or anything like it at all, you know. You could simply not be religious.

I don't really know of a certain religion or group like that. ><

I believe that an "atheist" is someone who denies the existence of God or any kind of god mainly because there is no scientific proof, so I guess you could call yourself an atheist and it would be correct.

Agnostic is the correct term, I believe. IIRC, it means that you know or believe in some kind of divine power, but it may not fit into a religion, or something like that.

You can be spiritual and cognitive, and not be religious. I am atheist but I do practice things of buddhism, such as meditations, and I do martial arts and tai chi. I read a lot and keep up with things in the 'scientific' world as well as psychology and spiritual things to have a code for myself that I can believe in, despite not being religious. People like that are more philosophers and examiners of life rather than committing to one belief and there's nothing wrong with that.

To me, Religion is only a way for us to do the right thing.
So, if you don't know what your religion to go to just do good things for the world until you can.

^^Makes sense. You really don't have to have a religion at all. I have religious beliefs, but I'm not all there. I have my questions that can't be answered, so I'm kind of an athiest at times. But don't worry, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful life, without the need of being religious.

I am a devout christian, but I'm not going to pressure you about this.
My friend doesn't beleive in a specific God, but that there's a higher power out there. My other friend believes in all religions.
All you need is a set of morals.

There is a difference between believing in god, and being religious. You can believe in the existence of a god, but not feel the need to worship/praise him (my mother believes Jesus exists, but has never prayed nor gone to church a single day in her life).

You aren't required to be religious, but according to your beliefs if you want to find a religion I would look into some far eastern stuff.

No two people share the exact same beliefs, which is why I've got my own qualms with organized religion. It categorizes people by beliefs, but that doesn't work in my opinion because beliefs aren't just like math problems where the answer is logical and fits together perfectly. Sure, you can find a religion that most closely matches your opinions, but then that religion (or rather, people of that religion) often expect you to believe everything the religion involves having faith in. What if you like most of what Buddhism involves, but some you've got some Jewish beliefs as well? What then?

Since I believe in God but have many problems with the Bible and a lot of people who call themselves Christians, I call myself the most atheist Christian ever. My ideas don't agree with everything in the Bible, but I believe in what Christianity was originally about: forgiveness and love.

So basically, if you can't find a good religion or belief system, that's okay. You don't have to. You don't have to attach a label to your beliefs.

Often, they do, but there are many different religions out there that don't require this.

Agnosticism. In my opinion it satisfies two criteria (probably more):

    1. It places you in a position that can't necessarily be insulted. You can have good recent not to be sure.

    2. You can accept things a little easier and with less bias. If you're very militant in any theistic belief system or atheistic belief system, it can corrupt any perception in regards to theology. Not always, but it can. In my opinion, this is a decent stance for someone who is intellectual. It becomes a challenge to be anywhere else, I feel. Especially atheism. Not that is bad, however.

If you have a central or very general religious view (such as we are all equal, all one, have some sort of spritual connection but not necessarily in theistc sense) then Taoism or Buddhism is a lovely religion to believe in--if not completely, but partially--even if they aren't actually religions in the technical sense.

If you definitely have zero belief, however, as you stated, that automatically can make you atheist, thus searching in a sea of religion which will never satisfy you. So far your beliefs at their core resemble parts of Hinduism, Buddhism as well as Taoism (to add onto what I said before). I suggest a little religious research.
