Kingdom Hearts II I can't believe no one has mentioned this...

Does anyone else realize that the third symbol was revealed in the secret ending. I mean we've seen the heartless, the nobody, but we never saw the mysterious third symbol that Roxas drew on the table to reveal the basement. Well, in the secret ending look at the RK's(Red Knight, I think that's what we're calling him now...) chest, that isn't the heartless symbol, nor the nobody symbol. So it must be the new enemies, the chasers(and I mean chasers as in whatever group the old mage is in/leading/etc.), symbol. Discuss? Therories? Flames?

 

Well the third symbol that Roxas drew was the crown. But what did the symbol look like on the knight? I didn't see it.

 

...Where did they show what Roxas drew on the table? I've looked at Namine's sketchbook and the scene, they blocked it.

And the symbol on the RK was kind've like an up-side down triangle. It was the same color as the heartless symbol, but just a straight line on the stop and went down like a triangle with red lines inside. Bad description? I know. If you have the ending on your computer, import it into windows movie maker and basically watch it in slow motion, or just pause it and slowly scroll through it, you'll see it.

 

Yea! I had the same thought about that 3rd symbol Roxas drew. It was hidden by his hand (as though on purpose by the creators part) and it was shaped somewhat like a crown?

Since the 1st two symbols above it belongs to the Heartless and Nobody respectively, it would be a good guess that that 3rd symbol might be somehow related to the "Chasers" or the "Knights" in the new installment of Kingdon Hearts.

However, I can't really see a "clear" symbol on the "Red Knight's chest area. For me, it simply looks like red outline on his muscle strands.

But yep, I agree that the 3rd symbol might be related to the "Knights" if not Kingdom Hearts itself (as the crown + heart can represent Kingdom Hearts).

 

Yeah. But how do people know that he drew the crown?

 

Good eye... although I didn't see the "crown" on the knight myself (I only saw part of it where Roxas himself draws it; if it weren't for his hand!!). If the knight is Sora's father or relative or reincarnated self or whatever, then that explains why Sora wears a "crown" medallion! That also explains why Roxas knew what to draw there, next to the Heartless and Nobody symbols; in the past, he was connected to that knight. (assuming the whole trailer was set in the past)

Still. . .

How can a Nobody exist while it's real self has not yet come to be? (That is assuming Sora hasn't been born yet)
(still sounds wierd, huh?)

So near, yet so far. . .

 

And also, Roxas knew what to draw there because he had received Namine's sketchbook after the cutscene in the white room.

riku-josh07: Yep my theory is somewhat like yours. I believe that Sora is the "reincarnation" of that 'Young Knight" in the trailer and that's why Sora's Nobody (Roxas) has an uncanny resemblance to that "Knight".

Darkness: The picture tells all~~~ XD. Ok it's not exactly a crown but it looks like one.. ^^;;


Hmmm now to hunt and see if a similar symbol is anywhere on the "Knights" in the trailer.

AXELMemerised & MochaCat: The suspected "Knights Symbol" is slightly shown in the image above. It is just below the Heartless & Nobody symbols and mostly covered by Roxas's hand.

 

I don't see why you would suspect that as a crown, well I do, but there are a number of possibilities of what it could be... I'll try to find a clear shot at the the RK's symbol...

Is it possible for you to outline the "symbol" that you see on the "Red Knight"'s chest with MS Paint or something.

I'm really interested to see your eyes but I just can't sadly...

Nope it's no symbol, it's a pattern on his clothes.

Well, I found that out earlier... But that symbol must mean something, I mean his clothes are similar to Riku's in KH1 only hhis had the heartless symbol instead of this one on the RK's chest.

 

Oh, THAT red knight! I thought everybody was talking about the one who seems like the leader of the three. . . That eliminates my father-son-passing-on-the-symbol thing.

But still. . . that symbol Roxas drew on the table. . . Well, it could really be a crown (or some sort of fork?). So far the Heartless and Nobody symbols were both symmetrical, right? Assuming it is a symmetrical symbol, then it should resemble a "crown".

The path down this mystery is longer than I expected. . .

 

The only thing is that the symbol looks in reverse to the heartless clone (that's what I'm thinking of calling this guy; reason's in my analysis) But it does look like it could be another hint to the whole mysteries of Heartlesses and Nobodies.
