Kingdom Hearts I beat Ansem! How come it didn't save?

I beat Ansem in KH FM but it didnt save and the screen just stopped at the screen that says "FIN." It wasn't frozen because the music continued to play so......what went wrong? The same thing happened to me on KH2 and I still have not been able to understand why it won't save the final boss battle

 

KHFM does not have the ability to save after the final battle.
only KH2FM+

see they want u to beat the boss over & over again so u got some challenge left & thats how square-enix thinks

 

Yeah you can't save after the final boss so that you can beat Ansem again and again!

nope, it doesn't.

Everything after the last savepoint won't be saved anymore.

 

Yeah, I kinda wish that it could save after the final battle. That would be awesome :D

But congrats on beating Ansem, he was hard the first time I fought him.

 

you cant save after the final boss in kh1, kh2, or khCoM but the game actually acknowledges that you've beaten it...It just doesnt show up on screen. For example, there are things in each of the three games that you can get ONLY after beating the game once.
Kh1: Kurt Zisa, Phantom, Ice Titan and Sephiroth
KhCoM: Riku's Reverse/Rebirth
Kh2: sephiroth....and a keyblade (you get a crown and several boss battles in kh2fm+)

dont worry about it man. Everyone hates it, but yeah square enix wants u to have a remaining challenge, so you never get bored with the game

 

Kh1: You can fight the optional bosses BEFORE facing the final bosses/beat the game.
KhCoM: True
Kh2: Sephiroth is also availeble before the Final Bosses/beating the game.

 

Okay, the kh thing i screwed up, but...for kh2...really?!
what are the requirements?
