Are there perhaps any recommended dishes I may cook so I may purchase the ingredients beforehand, good people of the Spam Zone?

Since it is an East Asian supermarket (as I was planning to purchase a few things for a future dish) it would be quite preferable if the recommended dishes in question were of the East Asian/South East Asian variety! Thank you quite a bit.

I'm sure there will be some Filipino foods there.

Get yourself Tocino (pork backfat), Ube (it looks purple, it's a yam thing), mango juice, and banana ketchup for some kick-ass spaghetti (cut some hot dog pieces for it too)

Most duck based dishes are beautiful to taste. Maybe that's a bit challenging though to cook if this is your first time doing it.

Buy some good aromatic herbs or spices whatever you do, enhances the flavour of any dish with a kick.

Oh maybe a seafood based dish, they are easy yet with lovely results.

I go to parties hosted by Indian Fraternities.
It's kind of the same thing.
