    Well lets see:

    1. I just happen to be a Christian, so it really doesn't bother me.
    2. I would think it was weird if they were talking seriously, because my school isn't serious :/
    3. it's just how some people are. I just leave it alone.

People don't really get harassed for religion, maybe for anything else, but you don't see it much for religion. So as long as you're not trying to convert someone, it's not really a problem.

as for the poll, i chose the first one :/

I used to go to public school but now I go to a Christian school. At ps, most people were cool with me being a Christian. Others sometimes hurt my feelings by saying bad things about the religion, but really, that didn't happen that much.

    1. "Cool, I am too!"
    2. Smile and keep walking
    3. Just think that they were a little excessive, but if it didn't harm anything, just let it be.

    1. I would start asking awkward questions in an attempt to get a Christian perspective on some of the harder questions.

    2. Ignore and groan inwardly. I may want to get their side of the story, but not in the middle of a hallway where we are hurrying to the next class.

    3. If they say that to me, I start a logical attack on their beliefs.

    1. I already have many Christian friends at school. It doesn't bother me as long as they keep their beliefs to themselves, but any evangelising or being told that I am going to hell certainly wouldn't go down well.

    2. Probably laugh as I walk past (at the very least inwardly). Possibly intervene if they were putting the person under pressure.

    3. Oh I would have a field day =] I wouldn't stop until they were in tears. People like that don't fall into the "right of free speech" category for me and I would certainly make my views known.

    1. Whatever. As if there aren't enough in Public school systems as it is? lmfao xD

    2. It'd be odd, I guess, I never really see it too often. I wouldn't care though. To each, his own.

    3. Tetris is a piece of electronic entertainment. I can't see how that or any other game is evil... even the things in the game, actually. It's a subjective perception.

    1. "Like, whoa! Awesome. What's your favourite verse?" xD

I'm a Christian too so it wouldnt matter to me.

    2. I wouldnt care. I might even hear what they have to say.

    3. As Neku from TWEWY once said: "Shut up. Just go the hell away. I have my values so you can keep yours, alright?". I wouldnt give a damn because they can rave how *insert popular game/franchise* is evil because *insert illogical reason here*. I can play what I want and I can do what I want. If God is going to condemn me because I'm playing with blocks then he probably isnt God.

Some Christians are out on a martyrdom still. They have the dominant religion in the world other than Islam and yet both religions have this way of making their paths seem more difficult and sadder than any others out there. It has never made sense to me.

I would not care really and treat the friend as I do any other friend. I have quite a few friends that are followers of Christianity. As long as they don't try to convert me, we remain friends.

Public schools here dont ever make fun of anyones religous beliefs. I am Christian and I have never been made fun of it. Many of my friends are Christians or don't belive in God but they don't make a deal out it out of it for the people who do belive in God.

It really depends on the person. For me, everyone gets a clean slate. By default, I like everyone, until I'm given a legitimate reason not to. I have absolutely nothing against Christianity, and as long as they don't pester people about converting, and this goes for any religion, I won't have anything against the fact that they practice their religion. You can worship a f***ing Cable Modem for all I care, just don't try to convert me if I don't express any interest in said religion.

About the poll, the first and last options sounded the same, so I basically chose one at random.

    1. wouldn't be surprised

    2.I'd find it interesting

    3. if he says some"thing" is evil then i don't mind. if said excessive however persecutes some"one" on their religious beliefs because they aren't christian then I'd have to intervene.

    1. What would you do if your new friend said he/she was a Christian?
I'd be happy as ever -.- I'm a big Christian, and God has deffinetly helped my friends, family, and ME out :D

    2. What would you do if you saw someone talking to someone about God in the hallway?
Jump in and say how cool he is XD
    3. What would you do if you saw an excessive Christian who goes so overboard that:

Example: They think tetris is an evil game? (from that other thread)

Well, they wouldn't say that anyway. Because Tetris, which is awesome, is no way disrespecting God. Or Jesus. Or the Christian faith.

    1. I really don't care, unless they get up my ass about how I'm not. I will respect your beliefs, please respect mine. :)

    2. Well, if they were preaching it to everyone in the hall I would be damn annoyed, but if they were just talking about it with someone else then it would be fine.

    3. I would roll my eyes, ignore them, and if they came up to me I would tell them not to take the Bible so seriously.

I believe that Christianity does more good than harm, and it's not bad at all to be one, so I show respect about it. But I am not, so my feelings are, again "I respect your religion, please respect mine". I understand Christ is the only way to eternal salvation, and if you are trying to convince me out of concern then that's very kind, but I do NOT believe it. If there is a fair and just God, he will not judge your enternal after-life on whether you followed a heavily edited book to the word, but rather on your whole, kind and selfless actions (or the oppisite) in life.

Ok, I'm trending dangerous ground here. I'll stop. :)

EDIT: Seriously, NO ONE picked the middle two options? I'm impressed.

    1. What would you do if your new friend said he/she was a Christian?
I don't care. I'm Christian. I wouldn't care if they said they're any religion. I have friends from a lot of religions, Wiccan, Pagan, Jewish, Muslim, etc.

    2. What would you do if you saw someone talking to someone about God in the hallway?
Keep walking, it's not my conversation.

    3. What would you do if you saw an excessive Christian who goes so overboard that:
Example: They think tetris is an evil game? (from that other thread)

Ask them "HOW IN THE HELL IS IT EVIL?!" I don't know "that other thread" so I have no idea how one would think that.

And for the poll, I wouldn't ACT like everything is normal, everything IS normal, no matter what religion.

    1. What would you do if your new friend said he/she was a Christian?
    I'd say,"Okay"
    2. What would you do if you saw someone talking to someone about God in the hallway?
    I'd avoid the conversation.
It could lead to a fight.

    3. What would you do if you saw an excessive Christian who goes so overboard that:

Example: They think tetris is an evil game? (from that other thread)
I'd just look at them like "Are you serious?"

I'm a Christian, but I don't let things like tetris get to me.

    1. What would you do if your new friend said he/she was a Christian?
It wouldn't make a difference to me. I'd treat them just like I treat everyone else.

    2. What would you do if you saw someone talking to someone about God in the hallway?
Well, it depends. If it's a normal conversation, if they're people I know, I'll listen for a bit, I might join their conversation, or I might not. Not to repeat myself, but I'd treat it like a normal conversation.

    3. What would you do if you saw an excessive Christian who goes so overboard that:

Example: They think tetris is an evil game? (from that other thread)
Well, honestly, I'd probably try to avoid getting in conversations with them. I like to think of myself as open minded, but some things I have difficulty understanding. I don't like getting in arguments, so I just wouldn't mention it. If they did, I'd try to find an excuse to end the conversation. If they kept pressing the issue... I'd get annoyed, honestly. I was raised Christian, but it makes me angry when people try to force their beliefs on others.

Sorry if my answers are boring/upsetting (I hope they aren't!) , but I'm just answering honestly. I hope it helps! :)

At my school, or the one I used to go to, if you came from the private Catholic school, you were treated like an outsider for the whole first year of 7th grade. Unless one of the older kids brought you into their social group, which me and my friends did a lot, then you had no friends, and nowhere to sit for lunch. If you survived to 8th grade, then you were okay, and would eventually make friends. One of my friends was from the private school, if me and my other friends hadn't "adopted" her into our group, she would have been harrassed a lot. Of course...my old school was pretty much hell on earth, so...

Well i would tell them that i am also a christian, and pal around with them.
As for the game thing. I would prolly tell them not to overdo it and just chill
