Your keyboard not working for a minute doesn't make you miss anything. Additionally, if you have a wireless keyboard like me that frequently has on and off working problems, it's most likely to do with the signal from it to the USB receiver in the back of the computer being blocked.

Let me rephrase that: I don't waste my energy hating frivolous things.

For example, I didn't particularly like Robot and Monster on Nickelodeon, but I didn't waste energy hating it. If it was on, I just changed the channel to, say, Disney Channel that had something on I liked, such as Good Luck Charlie.

 

I'm gonna spread rumors about you and kill your dog and call you names and you're not allowed to hate me because that would be hypocritical.

Also, I'm happy now. I watched the recording I set for 4:30 AM this morning.

 

You don't know what "Unscheduled Maintenance" is, do you? Sometimes, there's something that goes wrong that is out of the power plant personnel's power. They have two choices. Wait until something goes REALLY wrong and then spend hours with everything off so they can fix it, or they turn it all off now and spend a few minutes fixing it. What makes more sense?

I don't think anybody cared enough about that to remember.

 

Except it was too short to be maintenance. It was a power surge that wasn't even a second.

Then how did you miss three minutes of that show? Does your TV have to boot up like a computer or something?

And besides that, who's to say that the maintenance didn't simply consist of turning it off and then on again? Or maybe it had nothing to do with the power plant at all. Maybe it was something specific to your house or neighborhood. You do know that there are things other than thunderstorms that can cause the power to go out, right

Amaury I think the general sentiment people are trying to communicate is that there's no reason to blame your cable or power provider, technology has small blips now and then. Things were rather easily resolved (just catch up on what you miss) so in the end, it doesn't matter much.

Everybody else, relax & back off. Honestly, I don't believe you wouldn't be annoyed if you missed a few minutes of your favorite program.
