I am about to watch episode 1 of Doctor Who

No matter how mediocre certain filler episodes might be, stick with it until the end of the season at least.

But you see, Amaury, there is one fatal flaw in your plan of conversion: I give zero ****s.

I can't promise a whole season. I can promise an episode...maybe two.

 

Ew, it's Rose (blondie) she kinda sucks, so... Yeah.

She's a good actress though, for sure.

 

If you want to watch good standalone episodes, I can recommend some for you.

Rose is actually pretty meh as an episode. The only reason it's so acclaimed is because it's the pilot to New Who.
The Girl In the Fireplace (Season Two) is a far better episode, still has Rose & Mickey, and is a standalone filler, so the only knowledge you really need is basic.

 

Just finished the first episode and OH BOY WHAT IN THE WORLD DID I JUST WATCH!?

I have no idea how I feel about this and episode 2 is starting and I guess I'll try to watch it. I hate skipping over things so I probably won't be skipping to any other stand alone episodes because things like that just bother me.

 

I'm not surprised that you're on the fence about Series One. Most prefer the Tenth and Eleventh Doctor's runs.

But yeah, episode two is better than episode one in most every respect.

 

Yeah I'm 10 minutes in and already enjoy it more than the first one.
