I accidently gave a homeless $5

I don't spot any homeless that often, I only saw one once when I was at the capital. Though there's often street preformers, I always give all my coins to them. And sometimes there's people that sell a magazine where they earn something in return, so I buy an issue from them for support.

 

i live in Australia and a lot of us is pretty good - even drug addicts mooch off they're parents - i've never seen a homeless person

 

actually, it's not a good idea to give the homeless where i live, money becuz they just keep coming back. and yea, i really wish i didn't give $5

 

I just ignore them :/

I know! You never know if it's just a scam, or they're telling the truth. But you always get a weird feeling, no matter what.

 

Belfast has loads of people trying to sell magazines and newspapers. Then there are the children and adults playing instruments looking for money. I have never gien any of them money and I feel so bad when I walk past them >_>

My money is always in my wallet and it would be too much hassle to get it out and try to find some change to give. Anyway, if I use the crowd mentality, someone else is bound to give them something :P
