lol, I have the same problem in reverse. XD In the oh-so-prestigious career as a fry-cook, you would not believe how many times people have ordered chips and I almost cook up french fries instead of crisps. XD I have to translate in my head all the time. "Okay, crisps are chips and chips are fries. You'd think three years watching British Television wouldn't nullify a lifetime of speaking American English." XD It doesn't help that they still sell "Fish and chips" on the same menu as "Chips and cheese" and "Burgers and fries," either. XD
