Is beautiful. o_o agggggggggahfgdaj;g;hfjehdlskaghajasdfghjkl;lkjhgfdsagggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg IT'S SO PRETTY. I just. I can't. Aside from that, though, it was about on par with the first movie. I did like it a lot, but personally I think I just prefer the first one. Didn't stop me from crying but yeah. My local theater had a limited run premier tonight so of course my friends and I dressed up to go see it.
Well, I didn't really have time to throw together anything, so I just wore my Joy Frost outfit. There's pics floating around the site somewhere. I wanted to be Hiccup, but we couldn't find a short brown wig, and my own hair is waaay too long. >_> My friend was Astrid though, which she magically managed to put together in three days. I'll post a pic when she puts some up on Facebook.
I'm thinking it'll probably be the film I see on the 17th, either that or Edge or Tomorrow depending on how full it is.
The best part is that villain has a permanent Dreamworks face. The main thing that could have been done better was that that one thing should have happened during the climax. It would have made that other thing much more powerful and the thing that directly resulted from that one thing would have been better as part of the falling action, mainly because it feels like the movie just kinda ends right after the climax, even though that other thing kinda helps widen the gap between the climax and the ending.[DOUBLEPOST=1402693942][/DOUBLEPOST] I'm sorry, but Tuesday is just such a weird day to go see a movie. I don't why, but it just doesn't sound right. Hey, let's go see a movie this Tuesday.
I had to read that three times but I think I got all that. But yeah, I agree with you. After that one thing, the movie started to peter out a bit, until the climax ended up not being as climax-y as it could've, which is probably the thing that makes me like the first one more. Also Spoiler I do not think that fucker is dead. I saw no body, the Alpha was just kinda like 'well f*ck this, I'm outtie' and he disappeared. Also also, Hiccup's lines were really hammy at the end.
Yeah, but I like to think that's one of the few ways he takes after Stoick. Speaking of Stoick, how glorious was his beard in this movie? There was one scene where it took up like half the screen during his close-ups and it I loved every minute of it.
