hey guy's, okay before a mod says anything I'm not asking how to extract or find iso's I just want to know if there's something else I need to do in winrar to extract my iso because I checked the box next iso by clicking options then setting then integration but I still can't extract the iso so is there something else I need to do in winrar to be able to successfully extract the iso? and again I'm not asking how to extract or download the iso I'm just asking if there something else I need to do in winrar to be able to extract the iso.^ ^

Unless you're joking, because I can't tell; An ISO is a disc made into a file basically. It's a file extention commonly used when ripping games and software. It's not only used for piracy though, it makes you able to run a game without the actual disc, you mount it on a virtual drive which works just like a normal disc.

And regarding the OP's question; If it's just a normal ISO file, you should be able to extract it without problems. If it's just files that can be made into a .ISO file, you'll need a software to do it. (At least I think that's easier)

    This is correct.
An ISO, you should be able to extract just like any other file.
If it's been seperated into multiple rar files, extracting one should extract the rest and merge it into the correct ISO anyway.

However, if you're referring to the files that make up an ISO, then you'll need the correct software.
Unfortunately, I have no idea which, or if this is even the problem you are having.
But yeah, I would start there if you have no ideas.

I think MagicISO creates ISO's out of files.
And the download might be corrupted, lacking a file or something.

hmmm thanks guys,^ ^ btw does anyone know about a software that specializes in extracting iso's? because magicISO just mounts the iso thus I've tried magicISO in the past and it was too complicated for me to figure out and I don't want to mount the iso I just want to extract it to a fonder on my desktop, I'll google iso exrtacters and see what comes up.^ ^

If you mount the disc, you should be able to just copy the files from the virtual drive into a folder. However, try Undisker (google it) and it should work fine :)

So you can't access the .iso in the rar or zip file? If so, it's a damaged .rar. Or is it that it's password protected?
