How to ruin a Chevelle... Need For Speed Pro Street *Rant Warning*

I am a car enthusiast...

I recently bought the game Need For Speed Pro Street. So I youtube'd it to see some good gaming footage...

What I saw appauled me...

My favorit car, The Chevrolet Chevelle, getting ruined by a tuner.

If these modifications were done to a real Chevelle, the owner should be shot.

First he donked the wheeles... which is the ultimate crime against a muscle car.

He then tweeked the body shape... which wouldn't have been that bad, if he didn't flagrantly put the ugliest hood he could possibly find on it.

Then he put nausiating racing stripes on it. And worse yet he put poker card stickers on it.

He then put some racing decals on it. Which could have been ok if it wasn't that cluttered.

To finalize it, he painted the thing the nastiest tone of purple I've ever seen.

I think its horrible.

 

why, you just killed me, i love chevelles so dont wreck it you already screwed it up

 

Due to the fact that the text is in German... and the guy tried to make the car a ganster car... I bet this kid did it.

everyones entitled to do as they wish...I didnt like the color, but I sorta dug his general idea he did, the decal/body work was alright, the tires sucked and were **** but the look he went for made it fit. he did to it what he enjoyed, whose anyone to say anything about that? lol. Race him online and beat him if your so against it :P

 

I doubt he could take my Chevelle... Maybe in a wheelie contest... but thats it.

In real life, that car wouldn't be raceable at all. The tire alone kill it.

only games I have for my ps3 are:

DMC4, Resistance, Folklore, Army of Two, Assassin's Creed, and F.E.A.R,

lol, im more of a 641/2 mustang guy myself...but I doub they have that...they probably have 66/67 model....at best. which were good too...


I also like the skyline R34 GTR though...

They have a 67 Shelby GT 500. As well as an 08 GT 500.

They have a GT-R 34, and a GT-R 35 (Two different versions, since the Skyline made the cover, thiers the proto, and the actual production car.)

I like Skylines too, but am a biger fan of the S-14 Sylvia. The game has an S-13 240sx, and an S-15 Sylvia.

The drag racing system on this one is unmatched. Its more than just Perfect shifting... now you also got to manage burnouts.

And in high torque cars, you also got to manage wheelies, which are fun, but extraordinarily difficult to control.


There is also speed challenge. Where you race your car on pure highway, to test out your top end. There is always a few twist and turns in the road... but nothing which would require you to slow below 150 mph. Its all about top end.

Those are the two new modes.... I'm addicted to drag racing. I could probably build a faster car than my Chevelle... but I'm not a top tier sellout.

 

Thats cause it wasn't built as a muscle car, its called a Box.

Muscle cars and Boxes are made from the same kind of cars in some cases. A Chevelle isn't my personal choice on it but thats me, that kind of car can go both ways.

I'll take my R32 or the 302 Boss anyday over a chevele though

You would take a 302 boss over a 454 big block? You know the Chevy 302 ran over 500 horses in 1969 right? The 427 boss barely managed that at the same time.

Proof Chevy > Ford...


Oh yeah... and that "Box" could never win a race... ever... the tires alone doom it at the starting line.

 

Well duh. A box is a show car, or a ghetto cruiser.

VW > Everything. But I don't really like american made cars personally they are just, eh to plain not enough I can't think of the right word, the amazement isn't there for me. Don't get me wrong I love the 287 mustang sitting in my garage right now. But I find my tuner to be a bit more enjoyable right now.

 

Well... Chevelle SS's are sports cars. To take the "Sport" out of "Super Sport" effectivly defeats the purpose of the car being built. Its a crime.


VW < Nissan. Dude...R32's got nothing on a S-14! And the S-14 is like over a decade old! Don't get me started on the superiority of Nissan over economy cars like Honda and VW. Or would you rather me mention the 300zx TT...
