So Trent Reznor supposedly pulls the plug on future Nine Inch Nails projects a while back, sells all of their equipment, and that was going to be the end. Then he puts out a little spoiler picture of him back in the studio with new stuff. I'm not sure exactly when this was announced, but recently, he formed a band with him, his wife Mariqueen Maandig, and Atticus Ross. They're called How To Destroy Angels. They put out two singles. I like them, not exactly what I'm used to with the new vocals, they're pretty cool though, hopefully Trent will sing on some songs. Sounds like they're going for a little mix between Year Zero and The Ghost Albums sound.

no but seriously, I like the voice Mariqueen has, but over all, the sounds are pretty dry. I gave this a review and all and was very generous in saying a 7/10. Wasn't too impressed but I guess the tracks grow on you. They just feel too boring and then oooooo Trent puts that NIN spin on it with the heavily distorted guitars. I WILL get the EP June 1st tho.

Ooh, I like. Renegade's right though, it's a tad weak. I dunno, I think I'll follow this, see where they take it.

I personally love the new project, but I am looking forward to new NIN material. I think this will tide me over for the time being.

Just got the EP free on their website. So annoying at times lol. And way to spam out that wave machine. I swear they could have done so much better, but Trent says it'll drift away from the industrial sound, so it can't be all bad.
