I was thinking more along the lines of 'able to read,' that's the qualifier. Can you read words in quick succession, no pause or stutter? I would like to learn Braille.
I kind of feel like adding Chinese tot hat list is a bit incorrect. Chinese written language isn't based around an alphabetic system, and the only one it has is based around a reverse engineered Romanised one. Each symbol is more complex than what we would think. Just throwing that out there, because Wiki isn't always reliable. Anyway, Latin script is all i'm good for.

i can read music lyrics in korean, but you're talking like being able to wholly read/understand the language, which wasn't the case with the other alphabets. i assumed you meant just knowing the alphabet.
I was referring to Cyrillic, and wondered why you hadn't chosen it in the poll--? Unless you aren't confident in your abilities or something such.
