You said it yourself, society's problems come from an individual's personal problems. Which in turn come from the society that raised them to have those problems. It's a vicious cycle and a chain that can be stopped starting with the individual.

Such a social reform is impossible, I'm afraid. Look at history; murderers have always existed, across many countries and through many ages, in which staggering amounts of social systems were implemented. There is no way to prevent murderers from arising, there are simply methods of suppression.

Would you kindly stop these murderers?

This is basically what Cin said and follows on logically from all pro-life supporters on the topic of the death penalty. The main argument pro-life demonstrators make is that the "human being" (lol) that is "killed (lol) when a "baby" (lololololol) is aborted had the potential to become another Mozart or Einstein.

They also had the potential to become another Hitler or a serial killer. The logical solution is to destroy all embryos to prevent the development of destructive human beings (as the negative effects of the destructive individuals outweighs the positive effects of the constructive individuals).

My main reason for opposing the death penalty is that death is the easy way out. Giving someone the death penalty is basically giving them a get out of jail free card. A life sentence is considerably worse than death. It lasts longer and offers a larger capacity for justice.

Not only that is the fact that the death penalty prevents the proving of innocents. A man who spent nearly 30 years in prison was recently freed because new evidence showed that he could not possibly have done it. If there had been the death penalty he would have been executed already and there would be no going back.

Because its IMPOSSIBLE. No matter how hard we try, no one is ever going to be able to stop murderers from murdering. There has never been a perfect society. There will never be a magical brain probe, we will never understand why killers kill. all we can do is prevent them from killing (again). Like I said, I do not support the death penalty unless a murderer escapes from prison and kills again.

As for babies growing up to be Hitler, why would you want to just stop all existance by aborting everyone? That's idiotic. A baby has just as good a chance of growing up to be Hitler as it does to be Einstein. See that? It works in reverse, too. haha.

So you can either raise a baby not to be Hitler-or kill it. Unfortunately, that is a matter of choice.

Well then by not killing that murderer when he has first been captured, you as the American people as essencially responsible for that persons death. Just my way of thinking. That being said though it's also the easy way out, but to my knowladge it costs the economy more for life in prison for the death sentance.

And would you still be fighting for a babies life even if he was gay.

There's no proof that babies can be gay before they are born, but supposing that a baby was gay before he was born, yes. You can't just kill gay people for being gay. that just isn't right.

Im just saying that because a lot of the people who are pro life are against gays and gay rights. I personally am for gay rights, but would someone who is pro life still fight for the rights of a homosexual baby even if they against gay rights?

Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely anti-gay marriage. But that doesn't mean I would deny a homosexual baby the right to LIVE. He's no more "innocent" than I am.

Even though later on in life, you strip him of values and rights most of us take for granted? Even though you take away his rights to perdue his own happiness, and if a person doesn't have those rights and isn't able to persue his happiness because of his sexuality can that be called living in our modern day American society?

There is evidence that homosexuality is, at least in part, genetic. Brain structures in homosexuals are different than in those of heterosexuals of the same gender (and similar to those in the opposite gender).

Lol you just got a ROYAL butt kicking ;)

It isn't stripping him of rights if he never had them. Gay people can pursue their own happiness, I just don't want them tainting marriage. Yes, it can be called living in our modern day American society. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. Keyword belief. Marriage is a Christian/Jewish/religious in general concept.
