How fast do you type ?

I just wanted to know and see how fast peoples type on this site .
I type 60 gwam , if anybody knows what that is , that is suppose to be really fast .

 

Gwam= Gross words a minute, right?

My speed is about 77 gwam.

I usually take my time when I post things. On MSN/AIM/IRC however I type faster, occasionally resulting in some funny mistakes. >_>

I don't use the damn home keys either, I kind of learned how to type in my own way before I even took computer class and I actually type slower when doing it the "correct" way so whatever.

83 GWAM (2 errors)

My record was 107 (3 errors) but I can't get it anymore.

Weither I'm posting or I'm on MSN, I type rather fast (without looking at the keyboard), but I'm not sure how fast. How do you go about knowing how fast you can type?

 

Oh dear I feel very slow now. GWAM= 31 or somewhere in that low area. Then again I found that out like two years ago when I was really slow so its probably higher by now.... It seems like it anyway

Honesty, my max WPM is around 170. No joke. But only when I'm hyped up on caffeine. Like 3 gallons of Starbucks under 2 hours. And if I'm only using the home keys. :sweat:

My average is 90 with 1 error, 71 with 0 errors.

Anyone know how I can measure?

It really depends if I'm conciously looking at the keyboard or just typing without looking because I subconsiously learned the layout of a QWERTY keyboard (usually happens at night).
