Unless I'm pre-ordering a game or there's a REALLY good bargain, I barely buy from stores, so option 2 for me. The only time I download is for PSN exclusive games and DLC.

I'll either buy from Gamestop (too cheap to pay full price) or offline (usually Amazon). I'm really poor so I have to look for low prices on things, even if buying used kind of destroys the industry... lol. If it's something I really like I would preorder it, but so far nothing has tempted me to do so.

I am interested in buying digital but I have an older PS3 without much storage space, so it's not really a practical option right now.

Usually Amazon, sometimes GameStop, and occasionally renting from Blockbuster or Hollywood Films (The DVD rental stores, not actual Hollywood films)

it depends. most games for portable systems will get a digital purchase from me because i want to be able to carry all my games with me. console games, i will almost always buy the physical copy

I used to only go to Gamestop because I didn't really trust online deliveries. But, lately it's become the convenient thing, so I tend to order games through both virtual and physical.

Sometimes, I kinda get afraid of going to Gamestop because sometimes the employees try to bombard me with so many deals and games I don't particularly care for, lol.

But if I am really desperate, I buy games from Wal-Mart because of location convenience.

Mostly Steam and at a retail. Steam because I can get new games for the consoles I don't own and retail for used and Wii games.

I usually buy at a store, but when I can't find it anywhere, I buy it online from ebay, gamestop, or amazon; whichever is cheaper

I gotta travel 1 hour+ to get to a store that sells original copies here, and even then the price is absurd unless the game's old as hell, so I just buy online from game.co.uk since for some reason they don't get taxed to hell and back like everything else.

The bad part is that doesn't work for 3DS since mine's US, so I can't buy 3DS games easily, the only one I bought so far was KH3D in fact.

Well... when games first come out, obviously they have a standard price. ($59.99, $29.99 etc) so it doesn't really matter for new games. What it really comes down to is who has the better pre-order bonuses or special editions.

For used games I just go to GameStop.

For imports I use AmiAmi, PlayAsia, etc.

I never bought many games as a child, but it would be solely via Gamestop or other retailers. As of late, I only buy via downloads and such through PSN or Steam. I did preorder a game from amazon though, that's about the only time I will buy online in that regard.

I probably buy 98% of my games from like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or Gamestop depending on where I'm shopping. I actually prefer having a physical copy of my games moreso than buying digital. I really like box art and it's nice to see your collection grow and order them chronologically lol. I bought a couple games from Steam during the summer sale but that's probably the first time I've ever done something like that. The only things I get from PSN is DLC and even that's rare since I buy the prepaid cards instead of putting my credit card on there (especially since that huge ass hack from a while ago). I typically buy my games brand new too, idk I just like my games new and untouched. If it's a game I want really badly upon release like AC3 will be, I'll drop full price for it (or in this case my parents since my bday is Nov. 3) but otherwise I'll wait until the game gets re-released with DLC like ME2 was or just wait in general for it to get to $20-$30. I've never preordered anything before because honestly, if I just ask, the store usually gives me the preorder bonuses anyways. Like when I bought AC: Revelations they gave me the special edition when I asked so that was cool. Besides, most of the stores I go to have it on day one without it being sold out anyways so if I really want it that badly I can just go out and get it since a gamestop and a walmart is like 5 minutes from my house and right next to each other (and a chipotle, and a japanese steakhouse, starbucks, grocery store, chinese, and mcdonalds/burger king) bless food + games.

I usually order my game online from sites like Amazon and Play. I don't mind waiting a few extra days for the game to arrive and saving abit money is nice to. I have never pre-ordered a game though i have been to a midnight release once or twice for the banter.

I prefer having physical copies of my games. It feels more like a collection if I can actually see my library of games grow and take up storage space. Pretty boxart is always a plus. The only games I've bought digitally are FFVII and The Walking Dead. That was only because I didn't have another option at the time. Though The Walking Dead is getting a physical version early December. >>

Physical>Digital almost every time. They both have their pluses but to me, it doesn't feel practical at the moment to buy anything digital as long as I have an option for physical copies of a game. I don't like having to worry about how many gigs of storage I have left.
