How do you tell if a girl likes you?

I like this girl and i was wondering how do you know if she likes you back?

This is not only for me, it can be for other people who are looking for the same answer

 

It depends on the girl, really. Sometimes they might hang around you a lot, or if they're your friend they might come into physical contact with you more often than they usually do. For instance, they might hug you a lot or touch your shoulder, give you pats on the back. Another indicator is if they act different around you, like not the same as they usually do, or if they seem somewhat nervous. It depends on the girl, though, as I said before, because different girls express their feelings (or flirt) differently.

 

I like somebody at my school and I think he suspects me.

I think because the girl will hang around you and always be somewhere near you. But that really depends on the girl who likes you.​

Girls are difficult to figure out sometimes, and I say that even though I am one. Sometimes a girl will try and hide her feelings for you becuase she doesn't know if you like her back or she will start flirting with you which is the more obvious way. I agree with Kairimagic- it depends on the girl. The VERY best way to figure it out is just to tell her and then ask her if she does in return.

Believe me, as a guy I observe what my fellow comrades/mates do whenever they like a girl. Most of them always try to give gifts...and the outcome is pretty much just fail. Flowers are sweet but only if the girl and the guy really know each other. (Of course, flowers can be given to a girl if they are a good/close friend but you're not willing to pursue a relationship.)

Well,since I'm a girl,I could help you out a little:

~Girls act all giggly around them and find any reason to laugh at any joke you say,even if it's lame.
~When they're around him,sometimes they play with their hair when they're nervous around you.

I think those are some,of course this are some tips to the girls who don't know how to pretend and they get pretty obvious...

Um...just be blunt and tell her, if all else fail then atleast you can have a laugh about it later. No one on here can help because we don't know the girl and even if you do describe her it won't matter cause girls are bi polar whores. So just ask her and if she says no then put her out of mind.

 

Depending on the girl. All girls are different and unique. I guess if she blushes around you and just looks at you. She will start talking to you, if friends just maybe a but of flirting.

 

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but if she is a good friend of yours, like really close friend, then its more than likely that she dosen't want to be more than friends. I know from exerience because I have the same problem.

Just tell her you like her, if she says she likes you the same way, you scored big.
If she says no, then wait a bit...not a week, but like, a few months.

Women are the most unpredictable when it comes to trying to elicit a guys attention. Sometimes they'll be completely mature and overt about the subject and just approach you. Other times they'll be shy and completely distance themselves from you. Or, put simply, they'll do whatever the hell they want leaving you none the wiser. No single example of any woman here or in the world would help you in trying to understand that aspect. There may be subcategories concerning certain behaviour but there are just too many variables to even consider. The best and easiest thing you can do is just ask, because subtle flirting on your part can be really bad especially if you're misreading her signals.

 

Please don't generalize, because though you may have dealt with girls like this, those are stereotypes and the traits you've described do not represent all of us. I don't know many girls who would turn on a guy instantly, but I must say that any girl that is like that is most likely a person you don't want as a girlfriend anyway. As for girls being "bi polar whores", bi polar is a disorder in which people switch from emotion to emotion more rapidly than is normal. Girls may have mood swings because of raging hormones from puberty and/or pre-menstrual syndrome, but that is very different from being bi polar. As for whores, only a few girls are like that. Some are quite conservative and thoughtful, and if you want to be with a girl you can't be pessimistic about it.

I do agree that you should tell her, though. It might be a little bit awkward and if she says no, try not to be crushed. I don't know what guys do to cheer themselves up after something like that, but do something that will make you feel better if it happens.

 

Troof. Technically it's the only way you can know for a fact if someone likes you or not. Trying to find hints by the way they act won't get you anywhere, because like others said it's completely varied.

I use the word Bi polar as a adjective for mood swings. Stating that they will go from open with you to shunning you all the time. Cause they want to be more immature about it then they give themselves credit for. They will go from subtle flirting to ignore the hell out of you and then expect you to always be there to ask what is wrong and give them attention. Which in my opinion is bull****, because 9 out of 10 times its just being very immature about it and want to push the blame off on you. And as for whores, while most girls I have to deal with may be I am using that as a general insult.

No I didn't, but I am sick of girls playing with guys and then saying it is our fault. They do it just as much to use as ******* guys to it to them. So if they want to generalize that all guys do it, then I plan to do it for them.
