Personally, when he turns into a card and says "Look closely," I prefer not to card flip. I just use Explosion to destroy any card in range. So, no you don't necessarily have to flip them.

When he says "Look who's on top of the game!" do whatever you have to avoid him. Glide, Quick-Run, just run for it.

As for the final roulette, hopefully you've had practice against all the Gambler Nobodies and the battle up to this point. You have to stop all four command bar buttons on the Os to automatically take him down to 1 HP no matter how much he has in his Time Bar.

Depending on what mode you play it in, just hammer the X and Triangle buttons.
Also, what you really gotta watch out for is the amount of time each of you have. If he has less than you, just be on the defenceive more, It worked for me.
