Kingdom Hearts II How do the Organisation pick their element?

maybe it has to do with their world they were from or their orginal weapon otherwise i dun know =/

 

Its probably just how Nomura wanted them to be like, not really storywise. Although you could think Axel or Saix could have always been pissy people cause of their elements.

 

Prolly so. I don't think he was thinking of the technical issues when he assigned them their elements xD

...And on Marluxia's element, well, Ultimania has the kanji for flower... but then again, we're talking about the same book that says that Lexaeus's weapon is an "axe sword". ^^;

I'm pretty sure thier powers are based on thier personalities.

 

I think that they get thrier powers they had in the previos life.

I believe thier personalalites match thier element because of character design.

 

Maybe they get thier powers/elements epending on the way they die?

Yeah, Marluxia's element is nature. Hence his attitude toward nature in the manga and the fact that rose petals fly out of his hood every time he takes it off, or out of his coat whenever he moves fast.

How they get their elements? It's very unlikely that they choose them themselves. I can't think of anyone who would actually choose "moon" over fire, water, time, lightning, and light, as the Nobodies who came after Saix had. Most likely, I think, is that their element as a Nobody comes from how they were as a real person. Such as Roxas being Light - Sora is the official Keyblade Master from the Realm of Light, and is a very extreme warrior for the light. Xemnas is nothingness - what Nobodies are made of. Since he was the Superior, it is safe to assume he was the first human-form Nobody, and therefore was master of the element of Nothing. Its probably safe to assume as well that Axel's other was very much like Reno - and if I had to choose an element to go with him, it would definately be fire.

I believe their weapons are the same way. Each person's weapon seems to work very well with their element. It is likely that their weapon was established for them at their "birth" alongside their element.
