Kingdom Hearts II How do the Organisation pick their element?

As the title states. And for that matter, what are the Organisations elements? Just so that i can get it clear in my head.

Xigbar- Space
Xaldin- Wind
Vexen- Ice
Lexaeus- Earth
Zexion- Illusion
Saix- Darkness
Axel- Fire
Demyx- Water
Luxord- Time
Marluxia- Nature
Larxene- Thunder
Roxas- Light

 

Destiny force, you sure about that? I thought Saix element was like the moon. Or something like that.

Thats stupid. Then Saix should have had a bigger story in kingdom hearts than he did. If he controls darkness, then why would not be related to like Riku's story or anything relating to the dark people. I think Saix should have had more spotlight. Look at Axel, he had fire, but Saix dosn't get any love for having darkness? Thats just wrong if you ask me.

 

He was the 2nd longest surviver if that counts for anything

 

Hmm...I thought it was the moon too. But is the moon really an element? I mean, isn't that like saying that Marluxia's element is flowers? However, if we're talking about affinity...

But if it's the moon, I'll concede the point.

BTW, I think they get their elements depending on certain aspects such as personality or outer appearance. They don't get to willingly choose their abilities.

 

I always though his element was Rage or Berzerk. I dont know how darkness could be his element. He doesnt seem to use darkness when he fights.

 

Saix's element is not Darkness. All of the Nobodies had Darkness connection. No one had it as a specific element alone since Darkness is what is used to make the Nobodies' bodies. Saix's connection element is berserk and connection to the moon or gaining lunar power.

However, other than Saix, Destiny Force's description is correct.

Yeah, still. Kingdom Hearts II was to short for my taste. You could beat it in a day without trying that hard, depending on how good you are.

 

Yup. I'm pretty sure it's the moon (according to Wikipedia), but it's been said 'nuff.

So, the title says 'How do the Organization pick their element'? Eeh, I'm not sure how they pick them, but I like to think they get it when they become Nobodies.

Heh, it was strange for me that he survived so long, because I beat him on the first try easily. I've heard for those who beat Demyx easily he's hard, though.

And KH II was short. KH I was way longer (I think, I haven't played it for a while).

 

It is the Moon/Lunar, is on official files -_- (which I would get if I had the scans, but common sense can prevail...). Berserker stage and other abilities are just what comes with it. I mean, is not really a element, but then again, "Space" and "Illusion" aren't either, are they?

As for the question, is hard to say, but the safest bet is that they are born with it, because I'm sure Xehanort didn't have the power of Nothing in his hands before. Then there's Roxas, who wields the Keyblade like his original self, but then again, he's a special case. For now, I'll just say they are born with it.

What is hard to explain though, is the way the characters look like to represent their element xD. Axel's fire, and his design is self-explainable, Larxene has blonde hair and blue eyes, as well as "antennae" for bangs(?), Saïx himself has gold eyes, a "X" scar on his face, and resembles a wolf somewhat, which is connected to the moon (and his color hair flows nicely with the tone of it, too...). Yeah, yeah, I know, character design, but still, they all fit with what they contribute. Makes me wonder what their "Others" look like...

 

Yeah. Now I remember it's not just Wikipedia. I have The Kingdom Hearts II Ultimania and it says so itself.

Yeah, I guess whatever they're like is what their element is.

 

No saix does use the power of moonlight...thats why his title is "The Luna Diviner"...(Luna means Moon in latin...) the way nomura used it, saix had a "dark fire" version of axel's powers. and the bezerk thing i think came from a mental issue thats uneplained...

Yeah, people used to think the moon would make you psycho, hence Lunatic, so that's probably why he can be berserk.

 

I think it's been already made clear exactly what element our favorite blue-haired berserker has, so I won't repeat it again x3 I really have no idea how they pick their element, though. Maybe they just get the element they look like the most, because that's what it seems like. But that'd be kind of weird. >>; Oh well. I don't think it's supposed to make much sense, anyway.

 

I think when they become Nobodies, they link to an attribute element that most matches them when their new bodies form with Darkness. It is probably one of the necessary components and matches their personalities. I can't see Lexaeus without earth element or Axel without fire element etc. It never does explain why they 'chose' the elements or even if they did have a choice really so that would be my best guess right now.

 

Actually I thought Marluxia's element was death. Because Sakura petals are a japanese symbol meaning death, he wields a giant scythe, and I read of his element being death on Wikipidea.
