    Don't start using Vegas until you can master Windows Movie Maker. Otherwise you're just going to get confused and ticked off.

    Yea you might as well learn how to use WMM before you use Vegas or you will have some trouble

    Like both of them said, learning how to use Windows Movie Maker well will help you if you're planning on buying a new and more complex program.

    The price also depends on what store you buy it from and how much the sales tax is in your area. You might want to call a few stores and find out what the price is, then add on the tax and compare the prices.
