Okay, take ISO and put it in a folder. Then take the KINGDOM.IRX file off the disk and put it in the same folder. Finally, put the dumper in the same folder as both files and double click it. A command prompt should pop up. Wait for it to finish and the models should end up in a folder inside the same folder as the ISO and the dumper.
Im assuming you mean the .IDX file. ill try it. Is the command prompt supposed to come up in a quick flash...then go away? Cuz I just did everything that you said and that's how I see it.
Still trying. nothing happens, and as far as answers go, this thread is a ghost town. Of course, they all are, but it feels that way.
Well, I haven't personally tried this method, it's just what I found searching on Google. It should work though. And make sure you're using the KH1 dumper and not the KH2 one.
Nothing really seems to happen. the dumper doesnt really open when I drag and drop on top. There's just quick flashy window thing gone a 100th of a second. The viewer opens fine, though. That's good. seriously, the dump flashed a command prompt but doesnt open. I made a .bat file and everything.
Well then I don't know what to tell you. Just search Google or some other search engine, one of them is bound to turn up some results.
I'm not sure if this will help you, but if you're looking for the .3ds files, you could try scanning the ISO with Nova Software Extractor for the 3ds files. http://www.volny.cz/nova-software/
Kingdom Hearts games don't use 3ds files, they use *.mdls (KH1) and *.mdlx (KH2.) So that wouldn't really work.
i had same problem. i was lookin at my junk and i saw that my 'iso' was only 5kb. not only that, but it was an mdl file. wierd. anyway, i made a new iso file that was actually an iso and it worked fine. should be 2900mb. be prepared for that, and the ton of memory that the models themselves will take. my problem is that i can't rip the models from the viewer with 3d ripper (modelviewerwx starts but doesn't have the 3dripper 'ready' thing, and doesn't rip, and wxd3d9 doesn't even start.) and i have one of the newest computers on the market. ... so, check to make sure ur files are the right kind and all that. also, i selected both files and draged them over teh dumper (at the same time). i didn't even know you could double click it....
