Good, and I just confirmed that the link is infact a virus. You should do a scan on your hard drive...

I thought that was the problem. Ever since I clicked it my computer keeps shuting down and I've done 3 scans and it detected it but it would shut down before I saw what it was.

Boot up your PC in Safe Mode by rapidly pressing "F8" while your computer boots up. Safe Mode will run fewer programs, and allow the scan to be more effective.

k thx. but now I'm gonna have to update my anti virus which will cost $80+. Even though we just did last fall and then the damn drive burned out and we had to replace it and they won't let us get the original account back. But just Incase any other Ideas that may save my family a good 80$?

There are many freeware antivirus programs that you can download, but be careful since many of them are viruses as well. I recommend "Spybot Search & Destroy" while running in safe mode.

I use avast! Home edition. It's free to download, and it really helps me.
