Kingdom Hearts II How did Ursula come back?

I have no idea how Ursula was brought back. I did ponder perhaps it was done the same way Oogie Boogie was brought back since Maleficent was responsible for that. However, there's no proof and it could be I guess somehow the void spit her butt back out of it. >.>

Ursula..and Atlantica on the whole in Kh2 were kind of just there as some extra thing to do that was different than just fighting. I didn't mind it but it wasn't too exciting. Ursula was the easiest boss in KH2 to put down and if I were Nomura, I wouldn't bring her back again because this time she died of a SONG. Poor unfortunate soul will never live that one down.

 

Well did she ever die?

She sunk down to the depths of the sea. Otherwise, she was fine. She can still regain strength there.

I suppose Ariel is stupider than KH2 Sora. That, or her memories got affected. I don't know which is more inconsistant.

Meh. Who honestly cares? We have fought her five (Seven if you include recom) times over three (Four, if recom counts) games. I would sat she should take the hint. Perhaps she shouldn't keep coming back?

 

If you get the offical strategy guide it says that Ursala was revived by the darkness in her heart or something to that effect.

On how Ariel fell for Ursala's tricks again... maybe Ariel is mentally stupid..

 

Maleficen't gang IS a gang that has control over Heartless meaning that they have pure darkness in theor hearts enought to revive them, as the above poster stated.

i dunno but it is weird how ursula does come back and how there oblivious of who she is

 

Y'know, Atlantica is different from the one in KH1, WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY different!
Anyways, my point is that maybe they didn't gave her to much emphasis since Atlantica is an optional world.

 

I don't think that she actually died or anything. She just kept a low profile until she could regain her strength and trick Ariel again. I don't think it was memory loss; I just think that Ariel was an idiot, blinded by her desires.

 

Yeah, Ariel was always kinda ditsy. :D

 

Its a plot hole.

Both stories take place in the mddle of The Little Mermaid story.

They killed Ursula in KH1... so the story couldn't advance without her. So they brought her back in KH2 so the story could advance.

We could make up the excuse, Malificent brought her back, like she did Oogie Boogie.

Its still kinda a lame excuse though... as Ariel didn't think it was weird that she watched her die before... yet still fell for the same tricks.

 

Only real difference, from the first game was the singing and King Triton being turned into that barnical-thing.

 

Hmm. If we look in Jiminy's journal, it says she was revived by the power of darkness, or something to that effect.

No, the all knowing Jiminy told us about her using darkness. Malificent was not mentioned.

 

Because Ursula didn't die in KH 1, she only disappear in the smoke when u defeated she when she was huge.
