Kingdom Hearts How did they know?

You guys all know about the secret cave in KH1 right? You know, the one that the door that leads to Destiny Island's heart lies?

Well anyways, remember that if you were to look around you would see many familiar pictures such as Disney Castle and Donald correct?

I guess this means that means that Kairi isn't the only child from another world if they knew to draw those things on the walls.

How do you suppose these children even THOUGHT about how the things they drew look like? Do you think that most children on Destiny Island's originated from somewhere else? Please explain!​

It could be considered but that would still make us wonder why, or it could be that all of the people lived in the same world as per the small introduction in the kh1 manga and that all children came together to form new worlds. Then that would mean that may have had prior knowledge about all the said characters, such as Tidus and Waka and Selphie would know about chocobos, perhaps they all have small memories about the original worlds before they arrived to destiny islands then that would mean that destiny islands would be a place that all children would go when the parents could sense that their world was in danger, and for many years, they would be untouched at destiny islands. Sounds like Traverse town to me don't you think?


Except here is a small analogy:

Traverse Town: People with strong enough hearts would sometimes fall here and take up residency hoping to find a lost loved one or something of the nature.

Destiny Islands: Seems to be mostly inhabited by children but adults after seeing all the woodworking done to make the place fun for kids you know?


So all in all SOMEONE had to come and draw those pictures, be it current resident or past. So that means that there may have been more than the children we have seen around when we played through kh1.​

 

Maybe Terra, Aqua, or Ven did it lol​

 

We'll maybe find out in BBS or maybe if anyone gets the chance to inteveiw Noruma anytime soon then they could ask. If he doesn't say then it is important.

Acctually it probably was just an easter egg. Like the Cake is a Lie in Portal.

 

Most of the drawings simply looked like scribbles to me, and the Donald one could be considered as being just a duck, not necessarily Donald himself. The only drawing we actually saw them do was the one of Sora and Kairi with the Paupu fruit. However, like others said, the drawings could have been created by different people, or it could be an easter egg.

I say that this story was the reason for the drawings as well. We don't know much about these versions of Selphie, Wakka and Tidus, so they COULD have memories from another world...Either that or they can somehow break the fourth wall and see their Final Fantasy counter-part's life. It's probably just a coincidence...

 

yeah, or maybe their parents came from different worlds, and told them stories about what hey were like, and then they told them to each other and drew while they did it.

also, sine disney castle was originally in theganme, it probably would have been the final world, and it could be a way of looking at the end of the game, giving you an idea of what might happen.

I believe that this has something to do with Roxas's dreams of Sora's memories when he lived on Destiny Islands.

In the first KH Sora says that he has been to Hollow Bastian before.

 

That's only because Kairi's heart was inside him, and that was where she was from. Not Sora.

It's possible that past residents discovered the cave and drew the pictures.
It's possible that Ven, Terra, and/or Aqua also did it.
It's possible that the kids just drew them out of random imagination and creativity as well.

If it was important and/or was asked about, I'm sure Nomura would hint at something or just plain come out and say it.
