I think I have figured out what the /2 means.

The DS is a big fan of playing with words. Resident evil Deadly silence. Advance wars Duel Strike. More, but I cannot think of them. Anyway, the original DS means Dual Screen. Two screens.

The /2 could mean over two screens. 358 days, played out over two screens.

Makes sense. (Sorry if this has already been though of, if so I will change my avatar and siggy to be about squirtle)

Ah ****. Makes a lot of sense but...it could be a story thing instead...although...it IS called 358 OVER 2 days.
That might disprove your theory because it isn't 358 Days over 2 (screens).

Over two screens? It takes place over two screens. Seems to work fine.

I honestly cannot believe no one else got this. Ah well. Looks like my siggy gets to stay for a bit longer.

Someone told me ages ago that /2 means half a day, but your theory has got my mind spinning and now i'm gonna have to figure it out.

It could be, but I dismissed that thought after Nomura said it was a code you'd understand after completing the game.

... you don't need to complete the game to make a dual-screen joke. :\

some sense, but who knows what it really means.....

Good idea. But if you add Days to /2 you get Over Two Days. That could mean that the game is two days long in real time.

But like I said...It's over 2 Days. That's how you say the title of the game. If it was just over 2 then that would leave the possibility of it being over 2 (screens)....also Erkz is right. I wanted to point that out but got lazy.

It can also have the same meaning as 24/7 as in days. Or it can be something to do with the story nevertheless.

Okay, Erkz, the 'code' bit could be referring to the 358 days.

As for over two days... I am apt to dismiss a minor detail. Meh, I still like the theory.

Its called 358 days over 2...

I think its about Axel and Roxas 2 best friends who go on missions and spend a total of 358 days together.

Yours could be right though, I could see it working sort of, XD

How? Let's see if I can explain it.

Nintedo Dual Screens, (Nintendo DS, the system Days is on) often has puns in the name of games. Resident Evil Deadly Silence (Resident Evil DS), Advance Wars Dual Strike (Advance wars DS) Nintendogs (Nintendo dogs). There are more, but I cannot think of them now.

Pretty much, my theory is that it is 358 days (For the number of days Roxas spends in the org) with the /2 meaning over two screens. (As in taking place on both of the screens of the DS, as it has two).

    That spell it out?

Don't betray your inner Pikachu. D:

Anyways, it may relate to the two screens (a pun on the name, just like BWII, see the "Wii"?). It could relate to an event in the game though. We don't know yet.

    BWII? Batillion Wars 2?

Could be both pun and reference to the plot. Like in Advance Wars, Duel Strike was a pun and a game mechanic.

I think /2 means 358 a half days. And I think also that they put /2 because u play as Roxas (and the others members or the Org) and Roxas is halves of Sora, so this is it:D

Hmm. I suppose that could be it.

Still, I shal defend my theory to the last minute before release. Then I scream "abandon ship!" ;)
