Try using high Lv attack cards like 8-9 also put a couple of healing cards in your deck, also put some 0 cards in there too so you can brack his sleight. I also use Vexen and Oogie Boogie cards.

I hope that I help you or give you some ideas. :0)

Make sure you have the Vexen card. I was at level 48 and use 7-9 level attack cards. Don't use level 0 cards. Also if you have the sleight, use the stop magic card combo to deal heavy damage. Also use sonic blade. It may be a good idea to use elixirs too.

Use my comedy strategy. Make your deck NOTHING but Strike Raid and High Potions. As well as have all the cards as Premiums. It's funny just smacking and stunning him over and over again.

It took me a couple trys on the PS2. What I do is have mostly sixes of varying types, the shadow enemy card, and just use sonic blade repeatedly. Then once the two reloads are up, I use vexen just in case. I also carry some zero's just in case he tries dark aura. I also like to have Firaga, Blizzaga, and Omnislash. Curaga is good too.

the long way is always to just card break his sleights. everytime he performs a sleight he loses a card. keep card breaking him till ge can't attack but twice (with weak cards) then he has to reload his deck. i did this and toyed around with him.

An easier way to beat him is watch his attack patterns and avoid those attacks with glides and rolls. Use combos to stun him and attack relentlessly while keeping an eye on your health gauge.

Use high value cards, and avoid his attacks instead of breaking, only use 0 cards to break Dark Aura.
And he's resistant to elemental magics,so,use mostly special attacks(Holy counts as one,as well as some Summon cards).
Sleights like Tornado helps sometimes, since it's powerful and paralyzes, and Lethal Frame also helps a lot,and i haerd Omnislash deals good damage too.

As everyone is saying: High level cards and 0 cards. Use Sonic Blade like your life depends on it. Also Glide will help dodge some of his attacks, Like Helm Split. Use Oggie Boogie when you need health and spam Lethal Flame to stop him for a second to recharge.

    Hope that helped.

btw if your having issues with him...try leveling your health up..or your CP...

my desk is Kick ass...its like this
(these are all combos in a row)

    Sonic blade
    blitz
    blitz
    blitz
    normal three attack
    blitz
    blitz
    sliding dash
    stun impact
    (then i normaly reload)

    my specai cards are

    3 cures
    a mega potion
    and a
    elixar

i use combos like mad man till im out of cards to reload then i use a potion or a the elixar

The best thing that you can do is put 3 or 4 zero cards at the bottom of your deck. That way, when he activates a sleight, you just scroll two spaces back and cancel his attack. If you have a cure card with a value of zero, USE IT! Put it as the last card. Believe me, it works wonders.

You should also have the Vexen and the Oogie Boogie enemy cards. Activate Vexen's card at the start of the battle. Then, when you die, you'll be revived with partial health. As soon as you have control over Sora again, immediately activate Oogie Boogie's card to restore your health a lot more.

You should also have a lot of good sleights. My personal favorites are: Blitz, Tornado (works great on most bosses, because it stuns them), Firaga Burst, Quake (does not affect flying enemies), Sonic Blade, Strike/Fire/Blizzard/Thunder/Reflect Raid, Judgment, and Ars Arcanum. I have all of these in my deck, and they work really well if times right. Of course, use the ones that you fel most comfortable with. Plus, look out for Donald and Goofy cards. Use them as the first card of a card stock to get a high point value, since either way, they disappear after one usage.

    That's pretty much my whole strategy summed up =_=;

lots of fire. I beat him using a deck containing 3 firagas right out, then a few fire raids.....I think 4, then 2 miracle gifts. I know, healing the enemy isn't a good idea, but it does more good then bad. im on the final axel battle, and im only level 50 I think......ill write a more complete guide the next time I get to him....I plan on restarting soon anyway

I used a 0 card everytime he used Dark Aura. Also have high number cards too. Those'll help, and have several cure cards so you can use curaga if needed

if you get your health high enough it gets to the point where you dont have a health bar. i think i was around lv 63. try putting a mega-elixir at the very bottom of your deck. it may take ages but level up your cp to the point where you can have about 30 9s along with some 8s and you'll be fine.
