Still missing the point. People have hunted animals well before there was social structure of civilizations. Therefore this applies to any group, including westerners. It's not like Native Americans did not hunt, the travelers to the Americas did not hunt, there was already in Europe and Asia established gathered herd animals before Christianity etc, with the Greeks and the Romans, Egyptians, Celts etc, so animal farming was also well predating Christianity.

Horse meat has been eaten for several thousand years, as have many animals people think are 'cute' or useful in some other capacity. Many people have never eaten sheep, deer, rabbit etc either but yet they've been also eaten for years by others.

I do find the way many animals are treated is poor, to include chickens especially, pigs and cows. I find it rather disgusting that they are given meal which contains dead ground up former animals of their types so they are plant eaters forced to some weird cannibalism. It's just sick and I am glad that some farmers are refusing to do that and are making changes with pressure and also with the onset of diseases such as Mad Cow. You are right to point out that many people don't notice the other animals that are mistreated libregkd and RocketMuffin.

Like I said I don'y care if they hunt animals, thats natural, but they are NOT hunting animals, they are breeding them to used as food, no hunt, no effort, just chuck them into a machine then eat whats left, and chuck another one in. Humans are shown to be lazier then Koalas or Sloths, and they don't move for several hours, we were designed to hunt, but we turned hunting into a business, selling animals like you own them, but nothing living can be owned!
