Its a movie. They're starting a movie night thing and they're playing the movie. Still exciting though. I havent watched the series yet and that's something I need to do.
I was already excited about Soul Eater, and hearing about Tom gettig a new design and the new movie night thing has me even more excited.
Toonami is finally picking it up now.

Oh and One Piece is coming to Toonami as well.
With the recent and future aditions its looking more and more like actual Toonami, and not just Saturday night adult swim with Tom as a host.

 

Wait, it's just the movie? How connected is it to the series? Do you know if I'll be spoiled?

Eh never really got into it honestly but that's good. I'm a bit surprised that Naruto Shippuden or Reborn hasn't been added to Toonami yet but that's fine.
Let's cross our fingers and hope that Outlaw Star, BDZ, and Yu Yu Hakusho would be on there one day.

 

Naruto is on there. They started from the beginning a while ago, they'll get to shippuden when they get to it.
The Reborn animewas never brought overseas and the manga was canceled in NA, so the chances of that happening are pretty much non existant.

As I said I haven't watched the anime and know next to nothing about it.
If it's as Libre said, then its just an adaption or summary of the first few eps, and if thats the case I'm going to
hold off on watching it till I've seen the actual show.

I never did like One Piece, but hey, new aditions are always good. Gets a wide selections for the line up for people to enjoy.

Sure hope it doesn't replace Soul Eater's time slot at 1 am though. I can only stay up so late and be awake enough to process what's going on, and I don't care for Bleach or Naruto already. :\

 

It's more significant for the fact that the big 3 are on the same channel or block for the first time in a very long time (or perhaps ever, I don't remember.)
Needless to say that will be fantastic for Toonami, and combined with their other shows, they are really on their way to become what they used to be.

 

From what I've read, they're showing the film to celebrate the one year anniversary. And One Piece is scheduled to come on near the end of 2013.

 

Hopefully it will be get better as it goes on.

Well at leatst I don't have to worry about it replacing any show I happen to like at the present time any time soon.

 

But, in a sense, having all of them at once could limit their programming. I'm getting the reason why Evangelion is premiering at 1 is just so they can please the Bleach and Naruto fans. I'd find it better if they only kept one of them, and had that extra hour for other anime.

 

Well this freaking sucks. Last week I couldn't watch Eureka 7 cause freaking daylight savings or some crap, so it got taken off. Now I can't watch it again because of this movie? I'd be happy if they would replace the first few shows like Bleach and Naruto, but come on darn it. You're torturing me Toonami. COME ON DARN IT.


One Piece is going to be on Toonami now? Please, it better not replace Eureka 7.

I don't think so..... Last week I checked the schedule and Eureka 7 was supposed to air Saturday, but now they're filling the spot with a movie....sigh.


I'll be ****ing pissed too, bro. Glad to see Im not the only mad-in-love with Eureka 7 here. They can't replace it, seeing as it's on episode 30 AND ITS ****ING GOOD. I guess Im getting too defensive towards it.... I <3 u E7
