To anyone who gives a fuc--*shot* So, today was the first day of college, and man what an interesting way to start everything off. :lolface: First, I get my ass stuck in traffic...TWO EFFING BLOCKS away from campus, and show up late for class. Of course, the class was crowded, so I stood by the door for an hour and thirty minutes listening to what's-his-face lecture about the syllabus, then taking notes in the air on the section covered today. In the end, I miss getting a syllabus since he ran out and when I asked for one, he simply disappeared. Now, I've no effing clue how to organize my crap for this class, neither do I have a textbook**. And we've homework. BAWWWWW...:.-.: **Why don't I have my textbook? Because the teacher NEVER put a list of what/which books he wanted us to have. Dandy. Then...during my next class, a fight breaks out between some dumb-fucks, police gets involved and they get thier asses tackled to the ground. <---PERK OF MY DAY. :lolface: After I was free, I go into the office to check in with some papers, then find out my English class got moved to some other campus, pretty effing far away from the main campus, and I'm going lolwut?? So before heading home, I try to look for the campus, and almost get into an accident. Then I got pissed and came back home never finding that mystical off campus class. And when I got home, some other issues regarding the effing metro came up, and I broke my lamp, then sat and ate a burrito. Now, after trying to locate the mystical campus for 3 effing hours, I JUST dropped my English class. YAY!~~~~ 200 EFFING DOLLARS DOWN THE EFFING DRAIN FTW! I grew that money on the tree where the effing sun don't shine. FUCK YEAH!! FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE KICKS ASS.:B|: ...I'm gonna go play FFXII now.

I'm already on my second week of college and it's actually going swimmingly. Except that I ordered my Spanish 110 book online and they ran out, so I've gone a whole week without a book and will probably have to go the rest of this week without it. And it's a $180 book. :.-.: But I'm actually having quite the fantastic college experience.

This is why, when I get outta high school, I am taking a HUGE-ASS break before starting college. Or well I would if my parents would let me, but they'd probably kick me out of the house screaming GET A JOB~. I'm only a sophomore in high school now though, so I don't have to worry about it for a while. :lolface: Anyway your school probably has a website you can check that may have the syllabi and books, right? Check there...?
I did... ;~; I looked all summer! Dx Ah, well...I know what I have to do now. I'm done sorting things out. Dropping my English class was the last thing to do on that list, and now I've to go check in with another professor and see if he'll add me to the class. :3 And that was my plan...after HS, to take a year off. Yeah...so much for that. Heh. xDDDD I actually figured, I LOVE studying, so putting in a break will take me away from that. xDD /nerd.:lolface:
My school has a website but not all classes had their syllabi posted. I took the standard break before college (summer break) and forgot so much stuff that I'm in a math refresher course right now I had a 99.8 in precal last year I wouldn't advise a huge ass break
Thank God I don't have to take a math class for my major. Just to get my GE out of the way. I'm trying to get all my GE out of the way before working towards my theater degree.
See...I had the option of finishing my Calculus in HS. That way, I wouldn't have had to worry about GE math classes, and Calc was the only major math calss I'd needed for my major. But...despite all that, after one semester of calc in HS, I decided not to finish it. :B(: Who's lol'ing now?? :.-.: ffffffffffffff---
I'm sorry your first day turned out so awkward. I hope tomorrow brings something better. It seems that when we wish that a particular day goes well some kind of wrench is always thrown into the machine making it all fucked up and stuff :yelling:. Things have a way of working out though :woohoo:. And don't you need English for prereqs? Watching the cops hate on dumb people is always classic :=D:. Why would two adults even be fighting at school? I mean, it's not like high school where you get suspended and comeback. Criminal charges could be filed and you can lose out on your tuition money and your education. Not to mention that if you try to attend somewhere else, that stuff follows you like death :guiltygearXpc37:. But eating burritos makes up for all of that nonsense :Awesome:(even the lamp). I hope traffic and school is better for you tomorrow. Oh yeah... I haven't forgot about those dark chocolate chip cookies :noworries:.
I start univeristy on the 28th, but Fresher's Week starts on the 21st and I move into halls on the 19th. Fresher's Week is basically going to be the entire under-graduate group going out and getting pissed for a week. But I haven't been sent anything out by the university yet D: Like my welcome pack or any books I need to get. Panic ._.
