Hogwarts the final year: life isnt always easy

a few weeks later,Lyra was sitting in the common room with the twins in a basket like thing and cory next to her,she sat reading a book

jordan came down from the dorm,rubbing his face,he and a few mates had gone out the night before and as usal,didnt come back sober,he didnt noticed his hair was bright blonde till he looked in the mirror,it wasnt malfoy blonde,it was darker,but bright too,"whoa!'he said jumping slightly,behind him his mates tried not to laugh,he stood tugging at his hair muttering 'my hair....my hair....'woundering if he did it himself last night or it was a joke his mates he done,he suited it,it went well with his sea blue eyes,behind himhis girldfriend,lisa stood biting her lip,she wanted to tell him something,but didnt know how he'd take it,maybe she'd talk to his sister,since she already had three kids....maybe that would make it easier...

 

Vincent sat in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, writing down the grades for the reports he gave from the fifth years students in his class. He sighed, he knew the job was tough, but not this tough.

Lyra had been sitting outside,with the twins and jordan,as they walked to the doors,they saw kerian,he was smoking?!"kerian! what do you think your playin' at?!"lyra said angrily
"hey ly,jor,wanna draw?"he asked innocently
"pft hell yeah!" he said going for it,but lyra gave him a look a he stopped,looking slightly upset
lyra suddenly felt like her own mother,"you know thats bad for you,you've seen jordan...why copy him?"she said a little angry
"couse im in with the popular gryffindors....why else?"

"Hey, you don't your house points taken away, do you?!" Vincent ran to them after seeing what happened.

"Look, I'll give you a warning for disobeying a teacher," Vincent said, simply pointing Cerberus at Kerian. "But I don't want to be responsible for a loss of a student. Next time, you listen to your teachers."

 

"Wow... Mini-Jordan... All you need now is a Death-Laser and you could be Doctor Evil..." Casey snickered

Vincent sighed and put Cerberus away. "Man, I know what Kai had to go through when she taught here...... I wonder if she's watching...."

 

"No offence, but if you use violence as a first resort with the kids here they're going to use it as a first resort with you. And you'll certainly be in more sh*t then them."

 

"I believe, Casey. The class of first years I taught, I told them that I'll be like the other teachers. I said that to all my classes. But it's hard, grading the papers, teaching the students."

 

"You need to learn to balence it all out. Set yourself priorites, timetables, goals, aims. And work to them. That's all you can do if you must persist in this."

 

lyra bent down a fixed corys hat on better,she straightend up again,'there.'

 

"I know. I'm considered the second youngest person to become a professor there. Kai was the youngest, she started to teach there right she graduated."

 

"Congrats on that." Casey nodded "Twins Ly?"

 

Vincent sighed. "Here, what Kai left for you in her will. She said that's supposed to bring good luck or something." He handed Casey a box opened with amulet inside.

 

'yeah,i got them here,'she said lifting them up

 

Vincent smiled. "Oh crap, it's almost time for my class with the fourth year students. Gotta run, see ya later!" He ran off to his classroom.

 

"Thanks Vincent..." Casey nodded, slipping the package into his jacket pocket. Then turning towards the twins and Lyra. Smiling at them, it was all still rather surreal to him. Being a father, he'd never seen it happening that way.

 

Vincent arrived into his classroom on time and started the class. "Hello, class. We'll learn about the Unforgivable cruses. I always think it best to refresh yourself with what you know."
