Hogwarts the final year: life isnt always easy

"Just mum here tonight so she should be easy enough to pull out of the crowd. She always feels weird being surrounded by so many Potters and other ex-gryffindors."

 

'hmm not many potters left.... and she shouldnt feel that way,i dont know how many times mums said that she's like family....'she said'they are best friends...'

 

Vincent looked out the window. Kai's grave was in the family graveyard which his father owned, he turned to Aerith comforting Kadaj, who had another breakdown at the thought of losing his mother at a young age.

 

"I know, but she still feels out of place. Just how she is I guess." Casey sighed. "Well, come on. Better now then later."

 

lyra nodded,she looked around,spotting her parents,she went over"um... mum...dad...can i talk to you? in...the kitchen? alone?"
"ok ly."lewis said leading lily into the kitchen

 

Vincent walked to Kadaj, who was holding onto Aerith. He placed a hand on his nephew's shoulder, Kadaj turned to his uncle.

"Uncle Vincent, what's happened to mom?!" he said, tears streaming down his face.

"Kai's gone away for a long time, and you may never see her again," Vincent told his nephew. "But always think about her, okay?" Kadaj nodded, Vincent sighed. Kai always knew what to say to calm Kadaj or Aerith, but now he could never see her again.

 

"I'll go get my mum?" Casey asked

 

'probley best if we tell them all together...'lyra said

 

"Right." Casey nodded, walking into the crowd seemily at random and coming out with his mother, who was wearing a rather confused expression, in tow.

 

'well...here goes...'she said taking a breath,then walking into the kitchen,biting her lip
'whats up ly?"lily asked,her head to one side slightly'something worng?"
"no....'

 

Vincent walked to his parents, fighting back the tears in his eyes. "Father, Mother, can we talk?"

 

"Then what's going on?" Conni asked, taking a seat at the kitchen table.

 

"I wish to take the place of the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Father, Mother," Vincent told them. "Maybe, that way, I can know what Kai had to go through."

"Frick, you didn't even tell me it ws twins." Casey said in surprise. Before realising his mother was glaring slightly at him "But this isn't the time for that disscussion..." He added, shrinking back into his collar in a subconsious attempt to hide from the three parent's gaze.

 

Vincent waited for his parents' reply, and sighed.

 

'it was ment to be a suprise.'she mutterd'well now you know we'll just be going..'lyra said turning quickly,pushing casey lightly ahead of her'enjoy the rest of the night...'she added trying to make things less akward
'hold it right there lyra,dont move one more step,i want to have a word with you,upstairs, now' lily said,glaring at her

Sephiroth sighed and said, "You may take the job of Defense Against the Dark Art teacher, Vincent. Seems all our children are teachers."

"Yeah," Yuffie busted into a round of tears.

 

Sh*t... That leaves me with her Dad and my Mum... I'm so so dead... Casey thought fearfully. From his previous experiences with girlfriends parents the father was always the one to beware. And the fact he'd actually knocked Lyra up, well... The repercussions weren't going to be nice. And as for his mother, bloody hell could that woman shout when she wanted to, and by the look on her face she wanted to.
