"Okay, what I'd now like you to do, is pick up a plant and keep it until the next lesson. You have to water and look after it. Study up the plant so you know how exactly to look after it. You can now leave the lesson." Proffesor Sprout said with a smile and the class was dis-missed early.

 

Jake picked up a cool plant. ''I'll call it...Speedo!''

 

Zack picked up a Mandrake plant.

 

Daniel-Edward looked around at the plants. "Um...." He picked up a massive plant. "A venus fly-" The plant turned around and latched itself onto his head. "WaH! GET IT OFF!!!"

 

Jake rushed over at started pulling to try and get it off.''AAAAH''

 

Daniel-Edward tried to pull it off. The plant gave way and he put it down. "Maybe not...."

Daniel-Edward looked at another one. It was a tiny flower. "Maybe I'll have this one."

 

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to go to the library and study up my plant. Want to come?"

 

Daniel-Edward nodded and took his plant. "Mine should be in some Magical Flower book or something."

 

OOC- I'm just here because I have a bad habit of being far too polite.

I'm leaving the RP, quite frankly it's lost it's appeal to me. The post size has dropped dramatically and I only came back into RPing here for a challenge as opposed to the stuff I do on MSN with my friends. And in all honesty the posts on there are bigger and the plot line is better >_>
And this is just well... not interesting for me and I have nothing to post really seeing as you guys just post one line, that's not really an RP post in my mind but whatevs, it's your RP, do whatever you like. Just because it ain't my style doesn't mean it can't be your's.

So delete Dee and Whitney, they won't be appearing again and I don't want other people using them seeing as I actually have quite a lot of back story for then and I don't want to divulge it any more.

Good luck with the RP, it just isn't for me any more. See you around the site I guess.

BIC: Daniel-Edward nodded and headed off to the Library. "I wonder what my plant is. Its tiny so it might not need much care for."

 

"I'm not sure about mine." said Zack, as he turned a corner and arrived at the library. He walked up to the section which had books about Herbology and looked for books on the Mandrake plant. He finally found a decent book and read from it:

A Mandrake, also known as Mandragora, is a plant which has a root that looks like a human (like a baby when the plant is young, but maturing as the plant grows). Mandrakes not only resemble humans, but also have similar behaviors to them. At one point of time, the mandrakes, at one point of time, became moody and secretive, which indicated that they were reaching adolescence. And later on, they threw a loud party, which is comparable to humans when they are teenagers. Mandrakes are fully matured when they start moving into each others pots, similar to adult humans marrying and moving in together. When matured, Mandrakes can be cut up to serve as a prime ingredient for the Mandrake Restorative Draught, which is to cure those who have been Petrified. A Mandrake's fatal scream is very similar to (if not the same as) a banshee's scream, which is also fatal. Too look after a Mandrake plant, you simply water it everyday and give it an equal amount of daylight and warmth.

"Awesome book, I'm going to keep it for a bit." he said, as he walked over to Daniel.

 

Daniel-Edward was looking in a Flower book. "Man... I can't find my plant." He shut the book and started to look in another.
Daniel-Edward's flower bloomed open and its petals turned yellow.

 

Zack helped him look for a book on it, "I think this might be one ..." he said, as he looked in a book;

The flower is called a Rose. It's from the muggle world, however, it's been brang into the world of wizards recently as it has shown magical properties. Too look after this plant, simply give it water, daylight and warmth.

It also had some more saying how the plant acted in different ways, "Here Daniel, read this." he said, as he handed him the book.

 

Daniel-Edward read the book.

Lately, it has been shown that the rose changes colour to a wizard or witch's feelings.
Red: In love
Yellow: Happy
Blue: Sad
Green: Annoyed
Purple: Angry
White: Neutral
Also, if the petals are ground up, it creates a love potion that you can sprinkle into someone's drink with some of your hair.

He smiled. "Its like a mood flower." Daniel-Edward looked at the rose and it was yellow. "Guess I'm happy then."

 

"Awesome and that love potion sounds pretty useful!"

 

Daniel-Edward nodded. "Yeah.... But I don't have anyone to use it on."
Don't even bother. Prof. Sprout will kill you for killing your plant.

 

"You might do in a while." he said with a smile.
