"I unfortunately only know what I read." Whitney sighed, smiling slightly. "And I expect reading is a lot better then experiencing."

 

"dont knock it 'till you've tried it"she joked

 

"Well with reading you don't get diseased and you don't get your heart broken. Seems good to me." Whitney observed, flicking the page of his book over.

 

"if you fall in love with a fictional character you might."she joked once again

 

"I'm not that daft thank you very much." Whitney laughed.

Zack walked into class, he went right past Dee and Jaymes, completely ignoring them.
"Great, they're talking in private, probably about how dumb I am...."
Zack mumbled to himself.

He went behind the tree, making sure that they couldn't see him, and overheard some of the conversation. He sighed, and went back too the table, feeling incredibly sad.

 

Katie was about to say something like 'That's the stupidest thing I've heard!' or 'God, you're being childish!' but Zack left and Katie decided it was best to leave to the common room.

 

"What happened after I walked off?" Dee asked curiously, it was something that every person who'd ever walked off had asked countless times.

 

Roy walked to his Ancient Runes class and started taking notes.

 

"Zack said he was a idiot...i totaly agree."

 

"Same here. He really needs to think before he acts, he's lucky that guy was as nice as he was. He could of ended up in the Hospital Wing or expelled or both..." Dee sighed.

 

"I know..."

 

Maria also went to the Ancient Runes class, sitting down at her usual seat and almost immediately falling in to her near apathetic-learning mode, her mind half on Professor Vector's lecturing, half on the random thought running through her head.

Isabella had also had a busy morning, having slept till 8:30. She'd quickly stuffed herself with pumpkin juice and toast, grabbing her schedule and rushing back to the Gryffindor Common room, to pack her bag. She was a bit late from Arithmancy, nevertheless. Luckily she had two free periods after that, so she could breathe freely after that. She skulked to the library, a bit upset that she had managed to lose one point for Gryffindor the first day back, and of the huge pile of homework the Arithmancy teacher had given. She got on to the work immediately, though, since she hated homework so much that she wanted it done as soon as possible, so that she could truly enjoy the time-off she had. Maybe she could try to see what rule she could bend after the work...

 

Zack was sad, he sat down, thinking to himself how much of an idiot he was. He felt so stupid, that he couldn't even do anything. It was the first day, and he'd already lost all of his friends, and was being called stupid,
"This is just like primary school..."
And, it was. The only reason Zack was naughty, is because he didn't have that much confidence, he always didn't like how he was, and found it hard to make friends, so he lacked off in work, and never payed attention. He though he would make more friends that way.

 

Kitsune finnaly arrived at his charms class by taking his sweet time. When he came in the teacher shook her head dissappointed then continued with the lesson. A couple girlz was giggling and talking good things about his appearance as they noticed his fox tail and ears. Kitsune smiled as he read an lesson of charm basics that he already knew it was not hard for him and he was probally an expert when it came to charming and transformation magic.

 

"Still, at least he's in one piece. I guess that's what matters." Dee nodded firmly. "One idiotic piece, but one piece nonetheless."

Zack felt incredibly sad, and regretted what he'd done. In the end, he did try to say sorry, but no-one cared. He felt lonely, once more, but he wasn't in the mood to cause trouble, he was to sad,
"I hate this dumb school, I wanna leave..."
Zack thought to himself, mumbling it under his breath. Really, he was clever, extremely clever, but he didn't like to show everyone that, he thought, that being naughty, he would be-able to make more friends, although it wasn't working out for him.
