"huh?"lily said

 

"I mean....." Kai's owl, Sora, flew on her shoulder, a letter in his bark. She got it, and read it. Her hand with the letter dropped.

 

"whats wrong?"lily said

 

"I can't believe, I do have parents, they put me in a orphanage to protect me from something," Kai smiled and started to cry.

 

"from what?"lily said

 

"It doesn't say, but I'm just happy......" Kai smiled at Lily.

 

As Conni reached them Kai started crying "Oh, sorry. I'll come back. Somthing's happened, you don't want me around."

 

"Okay....." Kai wiped her tears.

 

lily smiled..."oh! i should`ve kept james here! i could practice expeillarmis on him!"she said

 

Conni turned to leave but turned around and looked to the ground "I'm really sorry about everything you know. What I've done and what my family's done. And if there was a way to repay you, I would."

 

Kai smiled. "Lily, you're a great person, and you're kind, very kind."

 

lily smiled

 

Kai smiled, and turned to Conni, "You can help Lily and don't talk your family about your friendship."

 

Conni looked up when Kai said 'friendship' "huh"

 

"You never had friends before?" Kai smiled.

 

"Not really. But you guys would... But I'm a Slytherin and a Malfoy. And you guys are Gryffindor's."

 

"Sure. People maybe shocked, but I don't care what house you're in."

 

"But what about Lily?"

 

"Right now, I see Lily as a sister, more like a sister and a friend." Kai smiled.

 

"Lily...come on we need to go to quittich practice..."james said dragging her
