Hogwarts New Stories: Third Year

"Yeah... See ya Kai." Conni smiled sadly as she rested a hand gentley on her scratched and scared arm.

 

"Sorry I'm late, Professor Strife," Kai bowed as she entered Sephiroth's office.

"It's alright, Kai." Sephiroth smiled at her, walking up to her.

 

Conni sighed and checked to see if the coast was clear before she rolled up her sleeve. And there on her arm, despite all the promises she'd made, there was a mass of fresh, red cuts on her arm. Over-lapping the faded and healing ones as well as causing the area to grow as she'd attacked fresh flesh.

 

"Really?" Nort laughed.

"Yeah. Hermione had almost like an afro in our first year."

 

Conni sighed, she knew she'd done it. She even knew where and when and even what with. But, she had no idea why. She just had, the night before.

 

"So see you tomorrow?" Nort walked out of the Hospital Wing.

 

She slowly rolled the sleeve back down and looked around for a moment.

 

Nort looked around for Conni.

 

Conni suddenly sneezed loudly, causing her groan slightly in pain. "Frickin' headache..."

 

Nort slumped down. "Nothing. Even if she sneezed, I couldn't hear her."

 

"Urgh..." Conni moaned standing up and walking off, gonna get some more painkillers... I love the person who invented Neurofen...

 

Nort went to the Gryffindor common room.

 

Conni slunk off to her dorm to retrive the painkillers. Her head still banging in agony.

 

Nort sat down in his bed, pondering about what he should do.

 

Half an hour later Conni awoke on her bed, she'd laid down for a few mintues to wait and see if the asprin would take effect. Apparently she'd fallen asleep in the process. The good thing was the head ache was now gone, but her arm was still stinging. However, Conni had grown used to that sensation a good few years ago. Pushing herself off her bed she stagged for a second as a sudden spell of dizziness decended upon her, caused by her heavy dehydration. She causally brushed her hair away from her face and left for the Common Room. Quickly ducking through and out of the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room.

Once out there she yawned sleepily and ran off towards to Great Hall for lunch. Nearly slipping up on the damp dungeon flagstones as she sprited through the corridors.

 

Kai yawned as she walked to the Great Hall, she had spent all night in her one winged angel form, looking around the castle. Sephiroth had told her to do so. She sat at the Gryffindor Table.

 

As Conni entered the Hall she scanned around for anyone she knew, it was still a little early for most students to be coming in for lunch butshe didn't mind. Infact she prefered there not being so many around. Upon seeing Kai on the empty-ish Gryffindor table Conni wandered over and sat down next to her, reciving a icy stare from a 1st year Gryffindor boy. She sighed then said to the boy "It's not illegal to have friends in different houses you know." Before turning to Kai "You alright, you look more worn out then I do, and I'm hung over."

 

"Sephiroth had me spend all last night looking around the castle, in my one winged angel form," Kai explained, excused a yawn or two as she talked.

 

"So there were things flying around out there? I thought I was just hallucinating from the booze." Conni laughed "Anyway, what were you looking for? The escaped convict guy? Or was it just father/daughter quility time?" She asked, intrigued by the situation.

 

"What about a bit of both?" Kai said. "Sephiroth said he did want to spend with me, but also tried to find the escaped convict."
