Nort stood up. "If you two will excuse me, I need to see my father."

 

"So what?"

"Kai!" Yuffie was shouting from another hallway.

"My mom's calling. I'll see ya later." Kai walked away.

 

Nort ran to the Hospital Wing. He saw some teachers huddled around a bed. "Move out of my way." Nort said.

 

After talking with Yuffie, Kai went outside to visit the gamekeeper, and came back with lilies in her hands. Rox walked up to her.

"What's with the flowers?" he asked.

"Nothing!" She walked past her brother.

 

Conni sighed, her head still aching from the previous night.

 

Kai walked past Conni, tears were streaming down her face. Rox ran up after her, and stopped.

"Conni, did Kai past you?" he asked.

 

"Umm... Yeah that way." Conni said sleepily pointing in the direction Kai had just run. "She was crying I think..."

 

"Thanks, I just asked what was with the flowers," he said, running after his sister.

 

"Jesus... Could you two run any louder..." Conni muttered walking after them to see what was up.

 

Kai sighed as she entered a empty room, she got on her knees and placed the lilies on the ground, then folded her hands. 'Kaina, I hope you see this from heaven, and that you're watching over me like you've been doing that day.....' She bowed her head and put her hands on her knees, crying silently.

"Who's Kaina?" Rox asked as he entered the room and saw his sister.

 

She held back a little, only staying as close as she needed to to hear what was happening.

 

"Back when I used to live at that hell of a orphanage, I did have one friend, her name was
Kaina," Kai started to explain. "We were really close friends, almost as close as friends could be. Then one day, while I was waiting to see Kaina in our secret spot, she wasn't there. I thought she got adopted or something, but one of the older kids told me a weird man took her away. Later I heard, she died in a lab while being tested for a experiment. At her funeral, I swore over her grave I'd find the man who took her and kill him with my own two hands, I won't care if blood was on my hands, that if it was my own and his cold blood. Just as long as Kaina was avenged."

"Wow, I never would have thought," Rox said. "That's why you're able to use your Patronus the way you do, your happy memories are the memories you spend with a old friend. How long ago did she die?"

"About nine years already," Kai said.

 

Wow... Conni thought sadly But still... nine years is a long time...

 

"Kai, is this the day she died?" Rox said, still curious about his sister's friend.

Sighing, Kai nodded. "Kaina almost looked like Lily, but the moment I saw her, I didn't know what to say around her."

 

This just get's more and more interesting....

 

"Rox, at times I feel like I let her die," Kai said, touching her bracelet.

Sighing, Rox slowly pulled his sister in a tight hug. "Kai, you need to move on. But still hold onto your vow to avenge her."
