"Hi sir." Conni greeted, carfully listening out for any signs of Scorpious's movements behind her. The hair on the back of her neck prickling

 

"Dad's been threatening Mom with those threats all summer," Kai said. She didn't notice a man with long black hair, he was wearing a white lab."Hey, Conni, what's with Scorpious?"

 

"He's not ment to be in the same room as me without my parents around..." She explained, "He dosen't want me to see him in case I say something."

 

Kai finally noticed the man, she pointed at him, "Conni, does that man look kind of.... weird?"

 

"Looks sciencey to me..."

"Got me there. But he feels awfully familiar to me."

 

"Stilll.... it's a little weird..."

 

The man walked over to Kai, asking, "Are you Kai Strife?"

Sephiroth put his hand on his daughter, and stared at the man. "Father, hello....."

"Did you hear that, Conni?" Kai whispered. "How can this man be my grandfather, he doesn't even look like Sephiroth."

 

"Maybe he takes after his mother." Conni shrugged.

 

"Possible......" Kai simply stretched her head.

 

lily looked around

 

"Hey, Lily," Kai said, walking over to her. "How did your summer go?"

 

"hey kai...oh i got grounded for saying something about my brother albus...cos he went away again..."

 

"After our last year ended, my father took me to his place, I'm still getting to used to though."

 

"really? well it will take time to get used to it..."

 

"Yeah, the fact I lived in beat down orphanage for most of my life, too."

 

she nodded"yeah..."

 

"I never had the family vibe you and Conni had, Lily."

 

"you'll get used to it..."Lily said

 

"I wouldn't say I exactly had the family vibe." Conni snorted "Remember the fact my darling brother beat the sh*t outta me everyday for 4 years?"
