Nort sat down beside her.

 

What exactly did you just do to my sister?
She didn't sound to thrilled about it from where
I was standing, and belive me
I know when she's upset.​

I kissed her.

Why on earth would
you want to do that?

She slowly turned the pages of her text book, thinking deeply about what had just happend outside the classroom...

 

Nort's eyes went back to blue.

 

"Why?" She asked Nort cautiously and quietly.

 

"What do you mean?"

 

"Why me? I mean... He's right, I'm not special I'm just a wreck. You prob'ley just feel sorry for me..."

 

"To tell you the truth, I really don't know why. I just do."

 

"So it is pity... Dosn't surprise me..."

 

"No it is not pity. I swear to you it is not."

 

"You might not realise it, but it's mosty likely that... A mix of that and god knows what..."

 

"No pity. I had pity on you last year. But...."

 

"See, I said it was... It's prob'ley you getting your emotions mixed up..."

 

"No. The thing is, I am jealous of you Conni."

 

"Ha!" Conni snorted "You jealous of the self-harm, the put-downs, the abuse, the over-protective parents, the constant stream of bad luck or the brother that keeps returning like a cochroach?"

 

"You have two healthy parents. My mom is dead and my father has at max two years to live. You have a brother. It was my fault mine died. You con't have to worry about hurting your friends."

 

"Sorry about your family... But, my brother... well... There's been many times I've wished the f*cker dead... And I'm serious... After everything..." She shuddered as she franticly blinked back tears "After everything that he's done, it's no less then what he deserves... The times he's made me want to die it's only fair..."

 

"Just be glad that he is alive. Once he is gone, you'll miss him. I miss my little brother."

 

"How can I be somthing I'm not... I hate his very existence, I loath the fact we live together and that we share the same family..."

 

"Have you ever wished me dead?"

 

"No... not really..."
