Hogwarts New Stories: Third Year

Nort heard someone walking toward him. He looked up.

 

Conni slowly entered the Great Hall, her arm still burning as the wounds were cleansing. She glanced hestantily over at her brother before coming in the rest of the way. Scorpious himself was sitting doing nothing more than eating his breakfast and absent-mindedly trying to do some holiday homework he hadn't had the chance to do.

 

"What do you want?"

"I heard there was a commotionon the train."

Nort grinned.

 

"Hey, Blondie! Saved yer a seat!" David called from the far side of the Slytherin table. Conni smiled and ran over, slipping into the seat next to him. "I belive you owe me a look at your arm kiddo."
"Not going to happen." She laughed pouring some cornflakes into a bowl "How many times do I have to tell you no one sees my arm."

 

"You are getting sicker everyday."

 

"Conni. Come on, I just wanna make sure you're not going to fall down again. I don't want to have to pick up the peices a second time."
"i won't, it was just the once. I won't do it again."
"That's what you said the last time Con, that's what you said last time."

 

"Does the Headmaster know?"

 

"I'm gonna do it again. I promise."
"Promise?"
"Yeah. Promise. So don't worry so much Dav." She grinned patting him on the top of his head like a dog.
"Don't do that."
"Or what?"
"Or I'll hug you again, right infront of all your Gryffindor mates."
"You wouldn't dare!"

"Yes he does."

"How much longer?"

"Two years max."

"Aww f*ck off Dav!" Conni laughed poking him in the ribs.
"Ouch! Don't do that!"

 

"It seems like your Slytherin friend is having fun.

 

"Oh yeah!" She laughed poking him again.
"Quit it!"
"Or what?"

 

"Yeah she is." She never seemed that happy with me.

 

"Alright that's it!" He laughed grabbing both her wrists to stop her poking him again "You give?"
"Nuh uh!" She giggled shaking her head.
"Oh yeah?" He quickly let go and poked her in the ribs instead "Not very nice is it?"
"Owie... Fine I won't do that again." Conni smiled rubbing where he'd poked.

 

Nort gripped his fork too hard, bending it.

"What's got you ticked?"

 

"Right, I've gotta go. Care of Magical Creatures and I'm in enough trouble for my lack of coursework from last year." David sighed standing up and stepping back over the bench "See yer Con."
"Later Dav." She waved looking down at her cereal
"And try not to kill yourself Emo-Girl."
"Whatever Dingo."
"You're never gonna drop that right?"
"Nope, Dingo Starr has to be the funniest thing I've ever heard!"
"It was a mistake!"
"Suuuuuuuuure it was."
"Fine, bye." David grinned ruffling her long blonde hair before running off.
"YOU PR*CK!" Conni half-snapped and half laughed flattening her hair. "Every flaming day..."

 

"You need to teach. Go." Nort stood up and went to DADA.

 

"Wow..." Conni sneered under her breath having heard Nort's out burst "Someone's got there boxers in a twist..." she finished eating a spoonfull of cereal with a demonic smirk

 

OOC: he just said it normally.

He is dying. She likes someone else. What a dilema.

 

OOC- You can tell by the phrasing it's him snapping. Soz, you just pick these things up when you hang out with emos. And David's 18 O_o

Conni eventully finished off her breakfast and slowly headed up towards the Defence Aganist the Dark Arts classroom. Swinging her bag up over her shoulder with a smile as she turned started up the Great Hall steps.
