Hogwarts New Stories: Third Year

"I'm certain you don't understand just how difficult it is for me to even talk to anyone... Let alone have feelings as complicated as that."

 

"Yeah , I just wihs you could."

 

"Well I can't and that's not going to change soon." She said bluntly

 

Nort sits down across from Conni.

 

"So... yeah on some level you are right, I don't have the exact same feelings as you but, the ones I do have are different to the ones I have towards my other friends. Even Dave and he practicly saved me from myself last year."

 

"Didn't I try to fight you and your brother last year?" Nort asked. That could mean one of two things. One: She hates me really bad. Option 2: she likes me more than the others. this one is more likely. I really hope it is Option 2.

 

"Yeah, you failed quite specacularly."She smirked "Sc...Sc..Scorp...Scorp... My brother didn't even need to get involved."

 

"That reminds me. I can't wait for Herbology."

 

"Subtle subject change there Nort." She snorted "Potions again, can't wait for that."

"My father is the teacher, remember? I was with him all summer. We went over every kind of plant. This is going to be freakin' easy."

 

"But where's the challenge in that?" She sneered.

 

"There isn't one. This is going to be fun."

 

Conni rolled her eyes "Cheater!"

 

"I just studied." Nort stuck his tongue at Conni.

 

"Hah! Yeah right, I bet you don't know what half of what you learnt even means!" she sneered

 

Nort sighed. "If you take some wolfsbane, mix it with some mandrake root, stoneworts, and sea lettuce, and have it soak for tweleve hours in basilisk venom, it helps calm down lycanthropes on a full moon."

OOC: stoneworts is an actual plant.

 

"Exactly, and what about the other names for wolfsbane? You know those?"

 

"There are two names for it. Monkshood and your name, Aconite."

 

"Right." She smirked.

OOC- Soz if I take a while, I'm trying to watch Blue Remembered Hills on YouTube so I can learn my lines and pick up the accent. So if I don't post anywhere for a few minutes that's why.

 

"Like I said, this is going to be easy."
