"I'd rather be me. Newflash, I'm a bl**dy Malfoy, we don't exactly do nice."

 

"But you can."

 

"Once in a bl**dy blue moon."

 

"Actually about once every full moon."

 

"Nah, it's less often then that."

 

"Still, you can be nice if you try."

 

"Maybe I don't want to try." She sighed sitting cross-legged on the seat like a child.

 

"And why is that?"

 

"Because then I'm not me, I'm someone else. And I've been someone else for my whole life so far, I just want a chance to be me."

 

"I will like you no matter who you are."

 

"Really, really not helpful." She sighed, colour leaving her face again.

 

"Sorry, but it is true."

 

"As evil as this is going to sound, can you just drop it. At least, just don't talk to me about it..."

 

"Just one last thing: You never told me if I was right."

 

"Right about what?"

 

"YOu don't like me the way I like you."

 

"I told you I don't know." Conni sighed hanging her head.

 

Nort sighed. "Yeah sure." She means no.

 

"I'm being honest I really really don't know. I'm not saying you're right and I don't and I'm not saying that I do. Because hand on heart I really honestly don't know."

 

She is just saying that to make me feel better.
